Easy, conveniently-arranged, excellently-priced transfer to RAK! Abdellah was an efficient and skillful driver. Would definitely book again.
We walked through the gardens around the mosque with a guide, whom we had taken for the morning. He gave us a lot of information about this building and the habits and customs. However, it is impossible to visit the interior.
We saw the Koutoubia Mosque and the adjacent grounds from different angles on the outside. No visitors inside unless you are Muslim. By imperial decree, no structures in Marrakech are permitted to be taller than the Koutoubia. Was raining when we stopped by. No one there other than souvenir sellers.
In the heart of Marrakesh, the mosque is a must. If you can only make one day then Friday prayers is a must. The acoustics of the call to prayer vertebrate within.
