We had a wonderful excursion to Taormina with our guide, Anna! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both enjoyable and informative. What really stood out was her willingness to tailor the tour to our interests and needs instead of sticking to a rigid schedule. One of the highlights was when she took us to a special viewpoint where we were able to capture breathtaking photos overlooking the beach below. It was a memorable stop that we never would have found on our own. Anna’s warm personality, local knowledge, and attention to making sure everyone had a great experience made this one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend this excursion and especially recommend Anna as your guide!
Don't leave Savoca without trying the lemon granita at Bar Vitelli—so refreshing. Taormina was a bit busy, but we found a small side street for lunch and it was perfect. Sicily is all about the views and the food.
The Greek Theatre is a masterpiece,standing in those ancient ruins with Mt. Etna smoking in the background is a memory I’ll keep forever. We spent our afternoon wandering through the Corso Umberto, window shopping and eating authentic cannoli. It’s crowded, but the charm of the narrow floral alleys makes you forget the noise.
We loved how this tour didn’t feel repetitive at all. Taormina was all about exploring and photos, while Savoca was more about just being there and enjoying the moment.

It’s a quiet little hilltop village with amazing history and charm. Sitting at the famous bar from The Godfather was such a unique moment. Taormina was equally stunning with its beautiful squares and scenic terraces.
The guide was waiting for us at the ship. Everything was well-organized. We saw the famous church in Savoca and then enjoyed the shops in Taormina. We got back to the cruise port with plenty of time. No stress and very fun!
We had the best lemon granita at Bar Vitelli in Savoca. The view of the sea from Taormina is breathtaking. The guide spoke simple and clear English. This is much better than the big cruise ship buses.
