Magical Dinner & show on the sunset Of Agafay Desert

We had a great evening in the Desert. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and plentiful. The show was fun 🙂

Unique experience, for all who want to make a visit in the desert of agafay, good food and good spectacle, in addition to other activities that are done in a group, I recommend 100%

This trip for us was somewhat disappointing because the "show" was not rich enough to be called as such. Before the dinner started, a person played guitar for 30-minutes. As the dinner started, a team of four/five men with rhythmic instruments showed up and engaged with guests at each table to dance. That took up half an hour for everyone to finish their starter. When the main dish came, the same occurred with different rhythmic instruments. Once again, guests at each table were asked to perform. That finished the entire "show". So, I spent lots of time watching my fellow diners performed. The "show" is some form of entertainment, but it lacks performance. On the other hand, the dinner setting and its surrounding areas were very interesting. The serving staff were excellent. So, I would recommend my friends to book this experience to combine with a camel or quad ride and set aside the expectation of any "show".

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing and frustrating. About ten days before our trip, someone named Mohamed contacted me, aggressively pushing additional activities even though I had already finalized my plans. Despite my initial reluctance, he persistently called me on WhatsApp, which I started ignoring. Reluctantly, I ended up booking a Quad Bike tour. On the way to the destination, we realized that Agafay Desert is not a traditional desert but rather a rocky wasteland filled with dust. It was far from the picturesque image we had in mind. We decided not to go on the Quad Bikes, and I offered to pay for just one vehicle as a compromise. However, they refused and insisted on full payment, claiming it was too late to cancel. This was absurd, as everyone knows these tours operate permanently in the area, and canceling one group wouldn’t disrupt anything. Upon arriving at the dinner location, it was completely different from what was advertised. The photos showed a dreamy private setting with beautiful lighting, perfect tableware, and an overall magical atmosphere. What we got instead was a plain tent, ordinary Moroccan food, and no special ambiance at all. Drinks were not included, and even basic items like proper wine glasses were unavailable. To make matters worse, it was extremely cold, with no provisions made for comfort. The event was hosted by a hotel but marketed by a middleman, creating a disconnect in quality and accountability. While the overall activity was passable at best, it was absolutely not worth the $130 per person we paid. For reference, in Marrakech, even the most upscale restaurants don’t charge $130 per person without alcohol included. The only redeeming part of the experience was the driver, Abdel, who was polite and professional. Unfortunately, everything else was a mix of half-truths, poor planning, and unfulfilled promises. We left early, feeling utterly disappointed. I strongly advise against booking this tour. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had on Viator.

I recently booked the magical dinner & show at Agafay Desert with Sunny Morocco,, and it turned out to be an absolute highlight of my travel experiences. the experience can only be described as perfect, we enjoyed the desert, private transportation and last not least the local dinner wit the show I highy recommend.

We had a PERFECT experience in Agafay desert to this camp. We felt like home with fantastic local people. Hamid, the manager of the camp, is a super host, he speaks maybe all the languages and he was always caring about make you feel good in any moment there. Commitment in small details makes really the difference. Nice sunset and nice sunrise. Dinner was good and well prepared with love. Entertainment is amazing, we had the chance to listen to traditional bands and see mindblowing pyrotech show in the desert We slept there one night, the tent was comfortable and beds are HUGE
