Starting at San Miguel Square, your culinary journey will lead you through La Latina, Cava Baja, and Cuchilleros Streets, famous for their tapas culture.
Visit a local tavern to taste stuffed mushrooms and slow-cooked chorizo in cider with beer.
Enjoy a guided walk through the historic Madrid de los Austrias, passing iconic landmarks such as Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, the legendary Restaurante Botín, Puerta Cerrada, and Calle Huertas.
Next, just steps from lively Huertas Street, we begin in a cozy “Casa de Comidas” — a renovated traditional bar — to taste tender Iberian pork cheeks (“Carrilleras”) with creamy smashed potatoes and a glass of red wine.

Luis is outstanding! We did this tour on our first day in Madrid. It was a perfect way to learn about the city, its history, food, and culture. We had a great small group with two other families and everyone was lovely. Definitely a great value for the amount of food and drink. Luis was friendly, patient, and provided great guidance.
