It ended up being just me and my partner with our chef Daniel. Daniel took so much time to help talk through all the food we were having, the history of the food and the culture, and then getting the hands on experience with making everything. It all came out so good. Absolutely pleased with my time and experience.
Daniel was absolutely fantastic! He was so kind and passionate about his craft for cooking! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Madrid!
Fun activity. A great visit to a local market, the food and drinks provided were great. Chef Aranxa was very knowledgeable.
Had a great experience. Arantxa is a wonderful instructor. Made us laugh the whole time. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Arantxa.
Our cooking class in Madrid with Arantxa was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel like welcomed friends rather than tourists. Her passion for Spanish cuisine, culture, and hospitality shines through in everything she does. The class was fun, interactive, and incredibly delicious. Arantxa shared not only amazing recipes, but also the stories, traditions, and techniques behind each dish, making the entire experience authentic and memorable. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and her warm personality created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. If you’re visiting Madrid and want an experience that goes beyond sightseeing, this class is a must. We left with full stomachs, new skills, wonderful memories, and a deeper appreciation for Spanish culture. Thank you, Arantxa, for an unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to return!
Wonderful experience with my daughters. Delicious food and lively, fun host. Arantxa was amazing! Highly recommend.
I found the description of the class on the website to be an understatement! First, Arantxa, our chef and guide. She had the most joyous presence. I highly recommend you choose her classes!! We started in the markets. She knew everyone there. Everyone. So all along the way people were shouting to her. Infectious joy. We chatted with the bean seller, the spice vendor, the cheese guy, the olive lady, and the cured meat person. From there walked back to the restaurant's cooking school. There were only 4 of us plus Arantxa and her sous chef. We made a Gilda, roasted potatoes and bravas sauce, croquettes, paella, and alioli. All from scratch. We had wine and vermouth. Strawberries for dessert. The class was hands on and instructive. Arantxa made it all fun and interesting. There was beyond Muy muy bien.
Great experience! I learned a lot, and my stomach is full of great food. Do not eat before!
Fantastic experience. Danny was wonderful, and he is an excellent teacher. The food was fantastic, and I especially appreciate the cooking techniques he taught us. Some advice: come hungry, skip breakfast!
It was AMAZING!!!! Daniel was our guide and he was super funny and insightful! 10/10 recommend!!
