The company Satguru Experiences did not show up, nor informed or justified the absence, so it was not possible to make the tour of the museums. I want my full refund.
The guide never showed up, we stood in the cold rain waiting. Even after several messages they never contacted us.
Not a great experience. Prado was closed (not the tour's fault) so we only did the one museum but we wasted an hour before we started and a lot of the tour felt rushed / combative with the group. Had we known, we would have preferred to buy a ticket and do the self guided audio tour.
Our first tour with Blanca was very good. She was very knowledgable and easy to understand. Our second tour, at the Prado Museum was also very good but it was very noisy there and very difficult to hear our tour guide. Also, a lot of time was wasted with our tour guide who had to speak both English and Spanish to our group. I would think that a tour guide who spoke strictly English and another who spoke strictly Spanish would have sped up the entire tour considerably.
Tour guide was excellent & knowledgeable about the works at Reina Sofia & Prado Musuem. Feel it's best to go with a group so you're not just wandering around trying to figure out where to go.
You need to dedicate the whole day to enjoy it. Strongly recommend to arrive there early in the morning to avoid long lines to get in.
wow so much to see my husband never goes to museums we had three but he totaly enjoyed and all the time he was so interested as our guide was so good she had so muvh to do talking in spanish and inglish so caring as there was an eldily woman in a wheel chair so understanding we would realy recommend thanks
Very interesting tour and information provided by Alexandria. She gave insights into the various art works we were viewing that were very interesting. Our ONLY complaint was having to translate three languages instead of two. It made the tour longer and hard to follow. Did not feel I learned as much as I could because of the distraction of the third language. This was not Alexandria’s fault and she did the best she could with what was required.
Very interesting experience, fabulous museums and great guide Blanka!!!! We had delightfull day and learned a lot
So much to see and absorb, so little time! Both tours very informative. Alexandra was a great guide. Very entertaining and good sense of humor. She explained complex elements of art well. A very long line in Prado Museum but didn't feel forever thanks to all her stories about the Royals and history. Though she has to do the Reina Sofia Museum in English and Spanish, it didn't feel like a drag. One language per tour would have been better.
