Madeira West Tour with Guide Fanal Forest Skywalk Experience

Fabulous day out, great driving, comfortable Mercedes minibus, room in the boot for bags ( I advise taking food with you) small group, friendly and informative guide with enough time to appreciate each stop especially the natural pools. We even had an extra stop at an amazing waterfall in a beautiful valley. I recommend this trip we got to see so much of this beautiful island without having to worry about anything !

It’s good value because they take you to many places, which is far away and difficult to reach by bus, but I feel quality is more important than quantity because you are taken to everywhere for 10-15 mins for photos, can’t really relax and the Porte Moniz only stay 1.5hrs including lunch, so after eating and queuing, I only got half hour to enjoy the water The problem is the guide, he didn’t introduce much about those places but complaining everything, he just said it’s another view point for us to take photos for instagram and tik tok. Through the day he kept complaining and making fun of tourists. He said tourists do a lot of funny things and maybe in the future, all the local people have to live in a boat and only come to island for work. he even said France is terrible and their bread is better than baguette. When I asked him to recommend restaurants he said McDonald and Burger King. I think he forgot we paid the money to enjoy trip, not listening to his complaints

It stops in quite a lot of places so there are short stops in every place. At the beginning of the day I was surprised we only had 20 minutes in Camara de lobos but it is because the whole trip takes 9 hours from 9 to 18 so there is little time. It was good to know many different places and knowing where you would dlike to comeback to explore further. Porto Moniz is a very small place, I wouldn't say is even a village but the swiming pools are great. Seixal seems a nice place to stay for some days and move around. Only bad thing was a couple in our trip that was all the time arriving late. If we had 20 minutes they took 30 and the rest of the people in the van had to wait for them and like this several times. On top they were chatting all the time non stop so because of them we couldnt hear the explanations from the driver. Very annoying people. The driver was nice. Just sorry for him because he had a bad time because of this couple.

Excellent tour which gave us a real flavour of this beautiful island. Our guide, Bruna, was perfect; she gave us an insightful running commentary and recovered the situation very well when our Mercedes proved that German engineering is not quite perfect. Loved it!

We used Icon Travel Madeira for our west coast tour and our guide was Nelson, and absolutely loved his service! The guided tour was incredibly easy, smooth, professional, and punctual. Had a fantastic West Island day trip. Route was full of island highlights and guide, Nelson, was informative, flexible and fun. I highly recommend whether travelling solo, as a couple or group.

This was a great tour! The minivan was comfortable and had air-con, which was great. We got to see so much of the beautiful landscapes of Madeira. Marco was our tour guide, very knowledgeable & kind (he gave the tour in German and English, which was really impressive). I mistakenly gave the wrong location for pickup, which I felt awful about, but they picked me up anyways. Overall lovely experience, would recommend 10/10 ☀️✨

The best company I did madeira

We booked this tour as we had visited the East side on our last trip & as it was Flower Festival we couldnt find a decent hire car available. Glad we did as this covered all the places we wanted to cover and the stops we would have been difficult to park at! Great guide and comfortable van rather that rattled jeep we had last time. Would recommend, only down side was they were slow to confirm hotel pick up and timing after booking.

My first time in Madeira. Since the beginning everything was very good. Daniela pick us in the hotel, the whole trip she was very kind and lovely, explaining every single sight we had. She was very professional and very good and responsable driver. I would recommend this tour operator to whoever wants to visit all the amazing places that this beautiful island have.
