The descent from the Paul da Serra to the Ponta do Sol is one of the most beautiful landscapes on the island. There we take a light walk, we get to know the Villa, and anyone who wants can cool their throats before returning to the hotel.

Next we cross the Paul da Serra Plateau, with several stops for photos. On the way it is common to find loose cows, which makes the experience fun and authentic 2h
Then we go to Porto Moniz, where we stay about 2 hours. Free time for lunch, to see the famous natural pools, to take a walk or swim, according to the wishes of each.
We continue to Seixal Beach, where we make a stop of about 20 minutes to take photos. Whoever wants can take a quick dive — we are totally flexible.
We started in São Vicente, with about 20 minutes to get to know the Villa and feel the local environment.

Pickup Locations & Times
The shuttle is included from the hotels and accommodation in the Funchal area and surroundings. The driver/Guide will pick up the travellers directly at the matched location. Guests will be contacted the day before for confirmation of search time. The vehicle is easily identifiable and the Guide will be at the door of the hotel or accommodation at the scheduled time. If the accommodation is not accessible by car, a nearby meeting point will be combined. For private tours, search times and locations can be adjusted according to the customer’s preference.

Our guide was Stephanie and she was great. She had a lot of energy and a formidable knowledge of the area. She took us to 8 different venues and allowed plenty of time for breaks and refreshments. Mostly we had enough time at each place, and it was only at Fanal Forest did we feel time was too limited as it was cut from 60 to 40 minutes. I’d have loved to have more time to relax and enjoy the amazing views. We ended the day at Ponta do Sol, a beautiful seaside town with lovely views. We both agreed this was the best activity of our two week holiday so a big ‘thank you’ to Stephanie for a great day out!
First time visitors to Madeira so we wanted a comprehensive tour of the island without the hassle of renting a car or route planning. We booked from the UK and had great communications from GetYourGuide and MadieraXperience. Our driver and tour guide for the day was Mauricio, a born and bred Madeirian (who had returned home after playing pro football for Gothenburg and Leyton Orient!) Such a friendly and knowledgeable young man, he was passionate about his island and knew everything about it from the fragile economics of balancing tourism with local living to the politics of being on an island with a mainland government. He knew the best spots to eat, how not to get ripped off and the best places to go and see with a limited time frame (and teenagers!). He took us to some beautiful places on the island, allowed us plenty of time to explore them and soak up the atmosphere. We would heartily recommend him/ this company to anyone wanting to see the beauty of Madiera, it was worth every penny. Looking forward to returning, and will seek out Mauricio again for further adventures.

Beautiful place, well worth visit on this trip to north side of island espevially if you dont have a car, Mautisio our driver/guide was really friendly, knowlegable & kind [ good looking too ] mafe ourvtrip much more enjoyable with his tips on locsl history & where to visit whilst here. Our driver Mauricio was fantastic, very insightful and informative, and a good laugh. Very chill experience, with ample time to stop and explore different locations. Mauricio's English was excellent, to say he filled in for the English guide, and really made the experience all the while better. Highly recommend for a nice scenic drive with a nice vibe, good locations, and thoughtful driver(s). Other than the weather, which was beyond our control, we had an excellent time and some good banter. 5 stars across the board! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
