Description
This Machu Picchu tour with entrance tickets begins with a pick up from your hotel or train station. Then we will take you by bus for 30 minutes to Machu Picchu. We will take a 3-hour guided tour exploring the most interesting building of the wonder of the world. We will visit the main panoramic points of the citadel and walk through the temple of the sun, the royal residence, the main square, the artisans' house and the temple of the condor. After the 3-hour guided tour in Machu Picchu, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes to go to one of the best restaurants in Aguas Calientes and enjoy 1 starter or soup and 1 main dish of the most outstanding Peruvian cuisine.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Aguas Calientes or from the train station if you are arriving on the same day of the tour. Then we will go to the bus station in Aguas Calientes, to ascend for 30 minutes until we reach the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Upon arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu we will go through the control where you will register your entrance ticket, thus beginning the guided and photographic tour of the corresponding circuit, you will visit the main viewpoints with panoramic views and the respective postcard photos, the guided tour will last approximately 3 hours. During the tour you will be shown the most impressive constructions of Machu Picchu and your guide will share detailed information about the history and archeology of Machu Picchu. Then you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy your lunch. The lunch provided includes a soup or starter and a main course. You will be provided with the most representative dishes and starters or soups of Peru.

Would not recommend this tour. I asked to do circuit 1 and to my surprise the day of I found out we were doing circuit 3. The tour guide was extremely rude and you could tell he definitely didn’t want to be there. I was the only person in the tour and he referred to me as “lady” the entire time. Tour guide left me in circuit 3 then later I got a text from someone else asking where I was because there is a lunch reservation (I had not been informed on where or what time).

You told me that you did not like the tour guide Ronald because instead of calling you by your name he told you Lady all the time, and you did not like that. And that is why you told he was a horrible tour guide. 2. You referred to me as someone else on this review, however we were all the time in communication and you were telling me Eric all the time. I was giving you all information you needed for the tour all time. 3. You did the tour with us, we pay for your bus tickets, your Machu Picchu entry, your private tour guide and your touristic lunch, we provided you everything and then you ask a 100% refund from Viator. Not happy with that you wrote this review. 4. The day of the tour and after the tour we have been in communication and you did not express anything about your disagreement with the tour. 1 day after the tour you told me about the circuits. This is very strange to me however when this type of issues happends on the tour we know by experience is because of 3 things usually. The first one is because people look for an excuse to be refunded and travel for free. Or just just hate too much our tour guide and your want to harm him. And the third option is very usual here and a lot of travel agencies pay people to do services with other companies and write bad reviews for them. I don’t really know what is the motivation for this, however l understood with years of experience that does not matter how good you do in life and proving services there will be always someone that won’t like it. Excellent trip, really friendly and custom tour. Fred was brilliant, collected us from hotel and gave a very informative tour, very knowledgeable in fauna and the history of the site and the civilisation. Helped with our photos too. The tour 2 is detailed and easy to walk, even for us oldies. We then returned to Agua Calientes and had our meal, it was a classy restaurant and the service and food was top notch. All in all a great choice .
