We pick up all our travelers at the Machu Picchu Train Station in Aguas Calientes. Our representative will be waiting at the station exit holding a sign with your name or the Chullpi Expeditions logo. We will guide you to a comfortable resting point in a local tourist restaurant. Here, you can relax and use the facilities (restrooms and seating) completely free of charge while waiting for your scheduled entry time. There is no obligation to consume anything; we simply want to provide you with a stress-free and hospitable home base before starting your 2.5-hour private tour of the sanctuary.

- IMPORTANT information regarding entry to Machu Picchu: Throughout June and until July 15th, the Circuit 3 – Designed Route will be available, which is an alternative very similar to the traditional Circuit 2, allowing visitors to enjoy a very complete experience inside the sanctuary. With this route, you will be able to take the classic photo of Machu Picchu from the agricultural area and visit the main archaeological attractions, such as the main ruins, ceremonial plazas, temples, the House of the Inka, the House of the Condor, the Sacred Pyramid viewpoint, and the famous Three Windows. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes, allowing enough time to explore the most important areas of the site comfortably. In addition, this route helps avoid long queues and crowds, providing a more comfortable, organized, and enjoyable visit, allowing us to manage this process quickly and efficiently, helping you avoid long lines at the Machu Picchu ticket office and saving you valuable time during your visit. Please note that Circuit 3B offers a more extensive route within the citadel, allowing for a broader exploration of the main archaeological sectors and providing a more complete experience inside Machu Picchu.
- IMPORTANT: Once your booking is confirmed, please send us clear photos of all participants' passports via the Viator messaging system. This is essential to correctly issue your Machu Picchu entrance tickets and avoid any errors in names, dates of birth or passport numbers. This step is mandatory for all travelers. The selected start time is indicative and strictly subject to official ticket availability from the Ministry of Culture. Since entrance slots are limited, we will coordinate with you via the Viator messaging system to confirm your exact entry time. Please note: we need to verify your train schedule, or better yet, coordinate with us BEFORE you purchase your train tickets, as the Machu Picchu entrance must be secured first. We bought tickets on July 4 for an excursion on July 28 (Excursion 2). Everything was confirmed. Around the 15th, before the departure, they asked us to arrive on the 27th and stay for two days to confirm the tickets. We changed our itinerary. Again, everything was confirmed with this agency. On the 24th, the agency contacted us to tell us that Excursion 2 was no longer available and that we had to change to Excursion 3 for the 28th. This was our first disappointment and the first sign of this agency's lack of professionalism. On the night of the 26th, they informed us that we couldn't do Excursion 3 either and, therefore, they canceled our reservation. Unbelievable! We came from Brazil and they left us stranded the day before the excursion. My advice: ignore this agency.
