Luxor 2 Days Highlights Tour from Cairo by Plane

Loved Valley of Kings, Hetshepsut, *Karnak, Spinx, city horseback tour, Nile watertaxi ride, few hours relaxing at the hotel by the Nile river. Quick airplane ride 1hr 15min. Egypt Air, nice staff but not the most timely carrier.

Tour was great and almost exactly as described. Service from hotel pick up to drop off was spot on. The tour was to be a small group but turned out to be just me! My guide, Mamdouh, was very knowledgeable and told the stories well. He always even encouraged me when I said my brain was full. It was nice to finish tour each day before the intense heat of the day. Excellent 2 day survey of the key sights

Dahab Tours was excellent. I purchased the six-day tour that started in Cairo, with a flight/tour of Luxor, and back to Cairo. From beginning to end, the trip was well-executed (tours were nicely planned, flights were booked by the company, pick-up/drop-offs were convenient) . The guides were absolutely fantastic. Each tour guide that we had was keen to understand and cater to our needs/requirements. The pick-up at the airport was easy. Checking-in at the hotels was flawless. A mapped out agenda for the week was really good. Transportation in Cairo and Luxor was really great. The guides were helpful and gave overall descriptions for the different areas visited (pyramids, valley of the kings, temples, etc). Unfortunately, we had one instance that was not positive - the hotel we stayed at in Luxor was ill-placed (behind a barn yard) and did not have an internet connection. I immediately touched base with Ahmed and the problem was resolved instantly; the team provided me with a mobile wireless internet connection that I was able to carry with me around Luxor and got re-assigned to a really nice hotel the following day. The guides were extra friendly, the transportation vehicle was fully air-conditioned/large/comfortable, hotels were nice, tours of Egypt locations were perfect, etc. The experience was positive and would certainly repeat with Dahab.
