Guide makes all the difference

Excellent tour with my guide Thovan. With his extensive experience, having lived through the war and being part of the south Vietnamese army working alongside Australian, New Zealand and US troops he has personal stories to share and knows locations, people and history. Highly recommend booking with Thovan for this experience.

An experience never to be forgotten, highest recommendation for Wombat.

The purpose of my holiday to Vietnam was to visit the Nui Dat Australian Army camp where many of my mates were based mid 1960's to 1971. My tour guide "Wombat" went out of his way to take me to the "Tunnel Rats" memorial stone which is outside where once stood the officers building. It was an amazing experience to stand on the ground that I was told so many stories about, imagination became reality. Then Wombat took me to the Long Tan Cross and gave a service for the 18 Australian men who died there in that battle, 108 of our soldiers against 2,500 Viet Cong, it was truly a heart wrenching experience. If your interest is in our boys fighting against the Viet Cong and North Vietnam, then this tour is a must for you, and I highly recommend the tour guides especially "Wombat" who was extremely good to me and spoke English very well.

Great tour with an excellent tour guide and driver

Had a great day the tour guide was excellent with his knowledge of the past history we had a private tour and the only thing a little disappointing is we were in a small sedan would have been a lot better if it was a larger sedan on mini bus but it is what it is

The Long Tan & Nui Dat tour was a moving journey through history !

The guide provided powerful context about the events that took place here, and standing at the memorial was deeply emotional. Nui Dat gave us more perspective on the strategies and landscapes involved. It’s a meaningful tour that pays tribute to the past while fostering understanding and respect for those who served.
