Comprehensive tour of many historical sites was fast paced, but definitely worthwhile
Zozo was guide and puetro driver They were great
The tour guide, Maria, and bus driver, Sean, were absolutely wonderful! Maria was very knowledgeable and answered all my follow-up questions and Sean was super skilled navigating us through the very congested streets. The boat ride on the Thames was an unexpected delight. We were also running a couple of minutes late and they reached out to check on us and made sure we were still able to depart on time.
We had a great time on our LONDON VINTAGE BUS TOUR, which was capped off with a wonderful tea at HARRODS...we also had a short boat ride on the Thames. It was a terrific way to see many places in a short time, some places we wouldn't be able to get to otherwise, on our short visit. Our guide was warm and witty, and filled with good information and our bus, when stopped, was often a part of selfies taken from tourists on the street.
The activity selection does not reflect the tour we’ve undertaken today. We actually took the Westminster Abbey guided tour with morning tea. Having taking a self guided tour many years ago, undertaking the guided tour is a much more immersive experience. Our guide ZoZo was very knowledgeable and engaging. His presentation interspersed with some humorous quips made the tour so much more enjoyable. A great day highly recommended.
Oh my god where to begin!!! This tour was everything!!! To start the bus is a gorgeous vintage bus that we had almost entirely to ourselves! Our your guide Magnus knew so much history and pointed out so many historical buildings and sites. Beautiful and comprehensive way to see the city with stops at Buxkingham palace, St Paul’s, a Thames River cruise, cross the Tower Bridge and finally we finished with an absolutely amazing tea at Harrods. I was able to take so many gorgeous pictures, learn so much history and my kids had fun too. Do this early during your stay so you can scope out where to come back to. I can’t say enough good things!!!
The tour felt very chaotic, with only one true stop for pictures beyond the boat cruise, which didn’t offer great views due to the condition of the boat’s windows. We had often already passed many landmarks or points of interest before our guide began to talk about them, and we felt like we missed a lot. That said, Harrods was excellent and helped redeem the tour for us. Our guide was very friendly and treated us with care, and we wound up making good friends with another couple on the tour, but those were really the only true positives from this experience. I would caution not to book this if the expectation is frequent stops / chances to take in London, but if you’re looking for a drive through the city with some interesting facts and stories to go along with it, it could be worth more to you than it was to me.
Dear Justin, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. While we are sorry to hear that the tour felt underwhelming, we are pleased to know that you felt well cared for by Lisa and found her friendly. The tour is not advertised as a hop-on hop-off service; it operates as a single loop with two to three stops, depending on the day. Thank you for travelling with Premium Tours, and we hope to welcome you on another tour in the future.
Just enjoy the moment and wear something comfortable. You are mainly sitting on the bus and then on the boat, so no walking, but still wear comfortable shoes because when you go from the bus to the boat, London tower has cobblestones so high heels wouldn’t be adequate
Harrods tea was great - bus tour was boring. Kids were bored and wanted to leave. I do not think it was worth the money. The bus was neat but overall the day was wasted as my teenagers were bored to tears.
Sean the driver was a really nice guy but the other guy just wouldn’t shut up.. 🤣🤣 I’m kidding, Steve was very knowledgeable and funny and really knows his stuff. This very cool bus was photographed constantly by people. It’s a great day out, and I highly recommend it.
