Such a fun camp show. If you’ve seen Titanic and you have a sense of humour you will love it. Whoever wrote this is a genius. Great singing. Not for children
Sinking Feeling. Probably the worst "show" we have ever sees. So bad we left at interval. How Celine Dion could lend her name to this is beyond us. And i love her music. My wife suggested she should be made to seeing. Horrible story line. Camp as a row of tents. Boring, rude, crude and vulgar. Talentless.
Having seen this before the new cast sadly are not up to standard of the originals . Think the states version looks better. Also If they toned it down slightly it would be better. The cast used to have great voices.
First, the show is FANTASTIC! A hysterical satire of the Titanic film set to the music of Celine Dion. Loved it! The reason for my one star review was that after paying over $270 for two tickets, we ended up being assigned obstructed view seats with a pole directly in front of us that would have only cost $110 for two tickets if I purchased them from the theatre directly. The seller of these tickets doesn’t let you pick your seat in advance and then rips you off by overcharging for crappy seats. You are better buying tickets directly.
Titanique takes a timeless love story.and vomits degeneracy all over it. About £2 was spent on the staging (it basically consists of an aubergine and some tinsel tat), and the show goes from bad to worse. It's a highly distasteful perversion of a modern classic and, believe me, when you're considering leaving at the interval but decide to stick it out in the hope it'll get better? Listen to that first voice.
I took my mum to see this show yesterday 21/6 and we absolutely loved it. So funny and the cast were amazing. Best show we’ve seen by far. Celine Dion you was fantastic. I highly recommend watching it.
Absolutely hilarious from start to finish. Who knows what all the pearl clutching reviewers were expecting? Do they not find out what a show is about before booking tickets. Yes, it’s camp, vulgar and irreverent & in the current climate it was exactly what we needed. Great performances from all the cast including a hilarious William Hanson. The theatre was packed & I didn’t notice any empty seats after the interval even though a lot of negative reviewers seem to think there was a mass exodus behind them…..there wasn’t!
Last minute booking whilst on train to London to see Moulin Rouge in the evening and decided to catch the matinee of Titanique in the afternoon... So glad we did!. Camp , outrageous, brutal funny at times.. The humour may not appeal to some, and that is fair enough. Have read that some people left at the interval.. Come on, do your research first!.. It is a send up. Yes the subject matter is a bit iffy, but take it for what it is, and enjoy the ride. The vocals were spot on and William Hanson doing the guest run as Ruth, Rose's mother was hilarious!.. Great fun..
Outstanding. Very, very funny. Brilliant vocal talent on show. Take a bow Astrid Harris, what a performance.
really wanted to enjoy Tiantiqe, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t for us. While I understand that comedy can be edgy and provocative, much of the material felt unnecessarily misogynistic and disrespectful. Some of the jokes about certain well-known public figures came across as crude rather than clever. I also felt uncomfortable with the way the Titanic was referenced. People lost their lives in that tragedy, and they deserve respect. It wasn’t something I could laugh at or enjoy. The language throughout the show was very vulgar and, at times, simply rude. It wasn’t the kind of humour we were expecting. In fact, we ended up leaving early, as did my friend and his husband who had kindly bought us the tickets — and they even apologised afterwards. Comedy is subjective, of course, but for us this crossed the line from bold into distasteful. I hope future performances might consider a more thoughtful approach that doesn’t rely so heavily on shock value.
