London Theatre: The Producers

Description
The first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ The Producers has exploded onto the West End stage. Hailed as 'The funniest show in London' (Evening Standard), this outrageous musical has audiences and critics roaring with laughter, declaring it a ★★★★★ ‘masterful comedy – the show we need right now’ (The Times). Based on the classic cult film, the original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. Teeming with Mel Brooks’ signature humour, The Producers takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims itself an 'equal opportunity offender!'. Reimagined by Tony Award-winning director Patrick Marber and with triumphant performances from Andy Nyman, Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward, The Producers is officially the West End’s hottest comedy ticket - a riotous, joy-filled hit you can’t afford to miss.

Hilariously funny. Great cast and overall one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Everything you would hope it to be for fans of the film
I have never seem a performance like this. It was fantastic, so well produced and acted. Amazing acting, singing, dancing. And a live orchestra. Absolutely an amazing expereince with all attending on Saturday giving it a standing ovation at the end. So much laughter. What an experience
So funny and well-done. Loved the energy and the talent. Phenomenal experience!
A total waste of time and money. We left at intermission. I noticed others were leaving as well. Terrible writer or "producer"; cast seemed amateurish, but likely didn't have much to work with from the writing. The positive reviews for this show must be from cast members or relatives.
Brilliant and funny. Outstanding performances from the cast. An absolute must see!
Brilliant. Worth it for the pigeons alone!
This was absolutely an hilarious show with amazing dancing singing and I have not laughed so much for such a long time. Mel Brooks at the peak of his comedy. A must see show.
What an amazing night in the West End! I just saw this fabulous show with Richard Kind, and it was one of the best comedies I've seen on stage ever. It's a classic, period piece reminding you how brilliant theatre in its heyday was -- and now is! I would recommend getting to this show before Kind finishes his eight-week run. He offers the audience a masterclass in comic timing while remaining emotionally vulnerable at the core. The rest of the cast is excellent, too. This show is a real must-see!
This was my first musical in London, I bought the lottery ticket and went without expectations and AMEI!!! the musical is super captivating, the actors are phenomenal, sometimes I even wondered if I was watching a movie! And the best thing is that this musical has a humor and a comedy from another world! Fantastic!! And the theater is small, you can see well from virtually everywhere, I was in the last queue below and saw perfectly!
