Jeremy was outstanding

Our tour guide Jeremy was knowledgeable, humorous and kept us on the edge of our figurative seats. His anecdotes really added to the great amount of important history he shared with us and kept the entire group’s attention throughout.

Half walking tour, half Churchill War Rooms.

Great guide, interesting information. Good sense of humor, good storyteller. Half walking tour, half Churchill War rooms which is a good mix.

Jeremy was an outstanding...

Jeremy was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely witty. His storytelling brought World War II and Churchill's leadership to life, and his commentary before entering the museum added valuable historical context. He truly made the experience enjoyable. That said, I wasn't convinced the guided tour offered enough additional value for the price. The tour concluded before entering Churchill's War Rooms, so we explored the museum on our own using the excellent audio guide provided with admission. I had expected more guided interpretation inside the War Rooms themselves. If you're looking for an entertaining and informative introduction to WWII and Churchill, Jeremy is fantastic. However, if your goal is a guided experience through the War Rooms, this tour may not meet those expectations.

We visited here on June 7, 2026. This was a great walking and history tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and stopped at various spots on the way to the war rooms. Once at the war rooms, he ensured we got inside and had the museum on our own. We spent about an hour and half in the museum and there was a lot to see. We recommend this tour, especially for history buffs.

Awesome!

Really good time with Babs! She did a great job walking us through some historical buildings and monuments. She was very enthusiastic and engaged the group through trivia questions when explaining she context behind each. She was also attentive to everybody and made an effort to know our names and where we were from. I appreciated that she even asked if I was feeling okay since she noticed that I seemed nauseous (stay hydrated - the heat is no joke!). And once we got to the war rooms, she made sure we were all good before having to leave. Overall, a very enjoyable tour with a very kind and knowledgeable guide!
