Our guide, Oliver, was fantastic. He had an impressive knowledge of the history behind London's major landmarks while also taking us down quieter streets and to hidden spots that most visitors would never discover. He was friendly, informative, and always happy to answer any questions we had along the way. It was a truly enjoyable excursion and one of the highlights of our time in London.
Such a great tour. Tom took my mom, my sister, and me around London and made the whole day really enjoyable. We got to see so many of the main sights like Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace, and walking through Soho and the city felt super easy and relaxed. My mom loved all the historical details, and my sister and I really enjoyed the mix of landmarks and stories along the way. Highly recommend if you want to see a lot in a short time!
Tom was such a fantastic guide and an incredible storyteller. Spending the day exploring London’s highlights with him was the perfect way to make the most of limited time in the city. Visiting Westminster Abbey without waiting in line was a huge plus, and his knowledge across history, culture, and local life made every stop even more meaningful. I wholeheartedly recommend him for this tour!
Chris was an outstanding guide and storyteller, effortlessly mixing history with real-life context while keeping my husband and I and our two teenagers genuinely engaged. At one point, he adjusted the route on the fly when the teens got curious about some street art, which made the tour feel super natural. I learned a lot, grabbed a few really tasty bites along the way. Wonderful experience.
We had an absolutely fantastic and captivating walk with Daniel. It was wonderful to be fully immersed in the stories and culture of the city. Thank you for your insight, energy, and passion — it truly made the experience unforgettable. Wesminster Abbey was the cherry on top the cake. Super!
Daniel, an outstanding tour guide, personally took us to places we probably would’ve overlooked based on what we were most interested in. Our four-hour tour was super insightful, packed with engaging stories and bits of history about each location, then he give the best tips to visit Westminster Abbey. I’d definitely recommend his tour to anyone who wants to see and understand more than just the usual spots.
We really enjoyed our tour with Daniel in London! He had such a deep knowledge of the city and shared plenty of fascinating stories along the way. The whole experience was lively and fun, never feeling rushed. He adjusted the route to fit our interests and even added in extra stops, so we saw everything we hoped for and more. Since we only had one afternoon and the following day in London, his tips and dinner recommendations were spot on. The Westminster tour with audio self- guides was a blast . We’d happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
Daniel was amazing! He arrived promptly and guided us to every spot we hoped to visit, plus plenty of hidden gems. He was great with our kids, aged 11 and 14, and shared fascinating details about London’s past. We discovered so much, and above all, enjoyed a fantastic day together as a family.
If you're looking for a full-day experience filled with insight, stories, and hidden highlights, this tour is a great choice. My daughter and I had a fantastic time exploring with Alex, who made the day flow effortlessly. The tour was well-paced, flexible, and rich in historical context — a perfect way to discover the city through meaningful moments and local charm. Westminster Abbey is not to be missed. Pick Alex!
Never book this tour! We were robbed! For $593 US dollars the ad was for a private tour for 7 hours. We expected a car to explore some more interesting venues in London. It ended up being a 5 hour walking tour with a guide walking us around London followed by walking us to Westminster Abbey for us to see the cathedral on our own. We did exact same the day prior on one of the “hop on/hop off” buses.
We’re very sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few important points: The description of the tour never states that it includes a private car. As clearly mentioned in the listing, this is a walking tour, which is the most effective way to explore central London due to heavy traffic that makes driving tours highly impractical. To save time and distance, we include a taxi ride, which is also specified in the description. Regarding the duration, the guided portion lasted 6 hours, and we also provided skip-the-line tickets to Westminster Abbey, where you continued the visit at your own pace using audio guides—as explained in the inclusions. Entry to the Abbey is not guided, and this is clearly communicated in the tour details. We understand there can sometimes be confusion when tours are booked through third parties, and we encourage all guests or travel agents to carefully review the full tour description before booking. Lastly, while hop-on/hop-off buses are a fun option, they don’t provide the personalized, structured experience of a private guide leading you through London’s rich history and iconic landmarks. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We remain committed to offering high-quality, well-organized experiences.
