Buy tickets directly from the museum. Significantly lower prices. The museum was excellent.

This was a very interesting tour, especially for people interested in WWII. The audio guide gives some good insight about what it was like for the people who were there. You can go at your own pace - there is a lot to see in the museum section, and some videos you can watch. If you have the time I would recommend spending at least 2 hours, more if you want to go through the museum section thoroughly. The only issue with that area was that it was a bit dark and I was there with my mother who has macular degeneration issues and found the placards hard to see.
Dear Tanya M, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Churchill War Rooms and found the audio guide informative, especially in bringing the history and experiences of those who worked there to life. Thank you once again for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you on another memorable experience in the future.
Very disappointed with both Viator and Wanderung the tour operator. I mistakenly booked tickets for June 24 instead of July 24. I notified them immediately of my mistake. Neither of them would do anything to help me change the tickets as the tickets were final so I am out $316 CAD. This after we booked at least 8 tours for 4 people through Viator for this trip. I will not use them again. Customer service was horrible.
Dear Gloria F, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your disappointment regarding the booking date. As soon as we received your request, our team reviewed the reservation and contacted the attraction to see if an exception could be made. While our team genuinely tried if we can amend the reservation. Unfortunately, the tickets are issued under a strict policy that does not allow changes or modifications once the booking has been confirmed. Thank you for your understanding.
A mind-blowing experience! An enormous amount of history packed into a relatively small, underground space.
Dear Ryan N, Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found the experience mind-blowing and enjoyed exploring the incredible amount of history preserved within this unique underground site. We truly appreciate your review and are glad you had a memorable visit.
Very informative and insightful. Wide ranging coverage of Churchill with the obvious focus on WW2. Disappointed with the Churchill museum part. Again wide ranging and insightful but not very well organised. It was too mixed and with no real guidance on how to follow it apart from a suggestion that it should be followed in a clockwise route. This was not really helpful as the exhibits were all over the room not just in a circle. It would have been better to have a guided chronological route to look at the exhibits. I became a bit fed up with the apparently disorganised nature and left before looking at all of it. The rest of the experience was great including the map rooms, accommodation etc. A must see for anyone with an interest in recent history.
Dear Chris H, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are delighted to hear that you found the exhibition informative and insightful, and that you enjoyed the historic map rooms and overall experience. Thank you once again for your feedback, and we are pleased that the visit was overall a memorable one. We hope to welcome you again in the future.
The War Rooms are very well laid out, with great commentary on the audio guide accessory. There is a focus on many people’s experiences and emotions during the war. There is an intermediate room labelled Churchill Museum covering all facets of his life. It is a wonderful collection of artifacts, maps, pictures, and CGI videos. But compared to the rest of the CWR, it is very jumbled and confusing to navigate. I had difficulty in finding my way out. However, for the telling of this facet of WW2 and the English courage and spirit, the CWR definitely merits a visit.
Dear Douglas R, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. It’s impactful and eye opening! Amazed at the size of the rooms, their experience during the war and what they endured.
