Calling all curd nerds and turophiles - yep, there's a word for your love of cheese - London's finest cheeses are being wrapped up into a 2 hour walking tour!
The cheese crawl starts in Mayfair, where you’ll tuck into some of London’s finest blue cheese at Fortnum & Mason’s legendary cheese counter. Taste Truffle Cheeses from where the Queen gets her groceries, and Stilton from a famous cheesemonger that has been in the same spot since the early 18th century.
Next on the agenda is in London’s little known Little Italy. If you ask us, nothing quite beats a great wine paired with cheese, here you’ll try drunk cheeses!
Complete your cheese adventure in Covent Garden.

Excellently organised giving good value for money. The tour guide, Perla, was knowledgeable and engaged enthusiastically with all the 15 members in the group. A really enjoyable experience of about the correct duration on a very hot afternoon.
Bettina did the best she could with a larger than normal group. Our only complaint is that she walked so fast. She did say, normally this was a slower paced tour. The quantity of cheese was great. 5 selections, easily 2 servings pp per stop.
What a fun cheese tour by Louie, we had a great group, learned a lot and tried some new cheese. Highly recommend if you are traveling in the area.
Monterey Jack led a great tour with lots of tasting opportunities and a great variety that I would not have picked to try otherwise. He also had fabulously cheesy jokes throughout!
Really good afternoon. We met in Green Park and walked up to Fortnum & Masons, then onto five other cheesemongers. Nic, our guide was excellent. He was informative, funny and got the group to interact without being pushy. The only thing I would say was that he did walk quite fast between venues and if you had mobility problems, you might struggle. When we met in Green Park there were over 20 of us but they split us into two groups, so it was very manageable. We then paired up into teams and had to pick a team name. Every now and again on the way round there were questions and Nic gave points for correct answers. At the end of the tour anyone who wanted to had the opportunity to tell "cheesy" jokes. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
Monterey Jack was superb! I learned so much about cheese while having the best time. Please give him a raise! Thanks Jack!
Really good experience, host was friendly and knowledgeable. Stops were short distances so really managable. Really enjoyable experience!
Great fun couple of hours tasting cheeses in various stops through the West end of London. Host Nic was very amusing and very informative and took us through some wonderful streets and tasting super cheeses in super places. It was Brie-lliant !
Well, what a disappointment. Booked this fun-sounding tour for a small group of us to celebrate one of our favourite cheese-loving friend’s special birthday, hoping it would be a highlight of a weekend break in London. Sadly, even after emailing the operator to confirm it was all going ahead, the host didn’t show up at the meeting point. We tried to speak to the organiser by phone, but could only get through to a call centre who confirmed we were at the correct meeting point at the right time, but were also unable to reach the people running our tour. We ended up doing our own tour, including some spectacular Welsh rarebit at Fortnum’s, accompanied by cocktails. Not the day we’d planned, but we made our own fun. Notes for the organisers…. A quick text/email/whatsapp update should have been a minimum courtesy to let us know how the host was delayed or not coming. An automatic refund too, without having to spend ages on the phone only to be told they will TRY and apply for one for us. A real shame. I wouldn’t recommend based on our experience, sorry.
Thank you for letting us know. We take your feedback very seriously and will reach out to the host to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Sincerely, Eatwith Team
A really enjoyable two hours, sampling cheese, listening to cheesy puns and jokes and visiting some excellent stores. Monterey Jack was an excellent tour guide who kept us entertained and informed. We sampled seven cheeses in total, along with a glass of fizz! In short a lovely way to spend a couple of hours!
