Make sure to plan for the length of the whole route being much longer due to the massive levels of traffic! Saw a lot of great things
We went on the Big Bus Hop-on Hop off bus on Saturday 20th June 2026. A total rip off. There were at least 4 stops missed out one of which was Trafalgar Square and The Museum AND NO APOLOGY. No notification on the web page warning of these changes and we purchased tickets that morning. They should have been telling people before paying £140 for 4 tickets and not being able to get off where we wanted. We are in our 80's and out family took us on this tour as we are unable to walk around. After our trip on the London eye the bus was standing room only most of the next hours journey which if disgusting. Paying all that money to stand on a bus. It was one of the older buses and we could only get a seat on the back seat of the bus above the bus engine. 1st bus was electric. It was the most uncomfortable journey we have ever been on. DO NOT USE THE BIG BUS COMPANY IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.
Omg! Loved this hop on hop off… we only needed a uber once and it was because it was very late leaving the comedy show ( Big Bus wasn’t running). I LOVE THE BIG BUS HOP ON HOP OFF! Well worth the money.

We got on at Westminster stop and many people were confused as to what bus to get on. There was a helpful guy at Westminster and Marble Arch but no guide on board just automated commentary. We just wanted to go to Harrods,Notting Hill, Buckingham Palace,Covent Garden and get cruise back....The trip took us 6 hours and we only had short stops at Harrods and Notting Hill (drop off point was nowhere beside tourist area of pretty houses).Ended up walking to Buckingham Palace and got Tube to Covent Garden and still too late to catch cruise back to Westminster. I recommend using Tube all the way. Its easier, quicker and cheaper.
Wonderful way to explore London when you have limited amount of time. Got to see way more than expected. Guide was Awesome!

Bus driver skipped stops without informing anyone. Went to random sites and therefore I missed being able to attend something I had scheduled. Wish I had known no ac on this tour. It was ridiculously hot.

Useless Tour - Very Meager & Lacking in any Informative Commentary ! Buses are nice and open, routes are good BUT for a historic city like London, the commentary is truly pathetic. The commentary is 75% music and then when you drive past historic sites, they try very unsuccessfully to be humorous .,. it’s completely lacking in any informative content and zero sign of the much needed British wit ! We’ve done open bus tours in Dublin, Liverpool, New York … and this sadly is the worst. The bus basically drives past key areas of interest playing music most of the time and occasional comments of zero interest. Change the Commentary and this tour could be much much better.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the commentary did not meet your expectations.
