Pagoda is a beautiful Buddhist temple located in My Tho, Tien Giang province. This pagoda is one of the most famous and important historical and cultural landmarks in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The temple has been attracting both local and foreign visitors for decades due to its unique architecture and spiritual significance. The Vinh Trang Pagoda was founded in the mid-19th century by a monk named Hue Dang. It is situated on a 2-hectare area and is surrounded by green trees and beautiful gardens. The architecture of the pagoda is a blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian styles, which makes it unique and captivating. The main building of the pagoda is a large sanctuary that is dedicated to the Buddha. The interior of the temple is beautifully decorated with colorful statues of the Buddha, as well as depictions of Buddhist legends and teachings. The roof of the temple is decorated with dragon-shaped ornaments, which is a common feature of traditional architecture.

Perfect, very good. Having grown up in VN, I returned to visit the Mekong Delta. The organized trip was truly great. Everything is done so that one can feel the authenticity, the richness of the local regions of the delta, and the sincerity of what is called "Miên Tây." My family (parents + 2 children aged 10 and 15) was able to dive into the history, heritage, and kindness of the locals. Huy is a wonderful guide: attentive, kind, funny. We visited a temple, took a motorboat, strolled through the village, took the local "tuc tuc - xe lam," navigated the Mekong in a kind of local boat, attended local songs, and listened to the legendary story of the coconut monk. There are so many authentic things in this region: smiles, music, fresh fruits, jasmine tea. Simply great! The lunch was hearty. We even participated in cooking.... The organizer does everything to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. He even sent us a text apologizing in a somewhat strong tone from the driver. I notice that the quality of tourism has really improved a lot. Keep up the good work of proudly representing the authentic wealth of the Mekong. Thanks to Huy, and thanks to the organizing team.
Thank you Huy for the very informative and a very engaging tour👏. Huy was very thorough with his explanation and kept us entertained throughout the day. We had a great day out seeing the best sights of Mekong delta which is a must do in vietnam
a fantastic day out and a really great way to experience the Mekong. tour guide, Kero, was engaging and knowledgeable. a lovely chap and made our tour enjoyable. i was not too keen on the lunch though
Interesting tour, although very touristy. Long bus ride, very nice boat tours. Local activities were interesting; during lunch, the guide unfortunately only kept us company during the preparation, not during the meal - that was unfortunate, as he could not explain anything more to us about it. It was a pity that he could not explain anything more to us about it. A bit more information about the country's history and today's life in the countryside would have been exciting. Friendly guide.
Helen was very helpful and detailed.
Our tour guide Kero was excellent. Was very passionate and had great advice regarding Vietnamese cultural and tips on making our trip more enjoyable. Kero was extremely pleasant.
Very nice tour with several steps that didn’t feel too rushed. There were quite a few bits where we could buy stuff but we didn’t feel forced at all
We had a fantastic day with Kero. The trip was well organised with lots to see and do. Kero was a very helpful and enthusiastic guide who also shared with us lots of tips and recommendations for our time in Ho Chi Minh City. We would definitely recommend.
The tour was well organized and communication was on point. We did the tour with Kero which had a great and positive energy, he made the day fun. The 5 activities/stops were interesting, yet we felt a bit underwelmed after the tour. We have not been wowed by the Mekong delta like other travelers seemed to have been, not sure if it’s our expectations or the tour itself. Regardless, it was all well organized and we have nothing bad to say about the tour company.
Thanks to Ken from Joy Journeys. This was an excellent tour from start to finish. Good communication throughout. The trip is so well thought out with each of the activities keeping us interested and flowing seamlessly from one to the next, showing us a slice of life in the Mekong delta. Ken was a great guide and provided all the info we needed
