Set off from Zagreb in a small group to discover the biggest gems of Slovenia. Start the day with Ljubljana, an enchanting city that will win your heart immediately. Explore variety of architectural styles, rich history and quirky bridge with dragons and take funicular ride to Ljubljana Castle from where you can soak up the beautiful panorama of the Slovenia capital. An expert tour guide will share interesting stories along the way and put emphasis on the hidden gems. Free time before we continue to Bled.
When we arrive at Lake Bled, you’ll have time to enjoy it your way at a relaxed pace, with plenty of picture-perfect views. You can take a scenic walk along the lakeshore, with the island in the middle of the water and Bled Castle rising high above on the cliff. From there, choose what suits you best: visit Bled Castle for the unforgettable panorama, take a boat ride to Bled Island, or pause at a lakeside café to try the famous Bled cream cake (kremšnita). And in the warmer months, if you bring your swimsuit, you’ll also have the possibility to take a refreshing swim in the lake, a perfect summer moment in one of Slovenia’s most beautiful spots.

I had a wonderful experience on the Ljubljana & Lake Bled small group trip from Zagreb. Both places were absolutely beautiful and well worth visiting. Our driver and guide, Renato, was the best. He shared so many interesting historical and cultural facts throughout the day, which made the trip even more meaningful. Renato was also a very safe driver, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made everyone feel comfortable and taken care of from start to finish. The whole experience was smooth, enjoyable, and very memorable. This was a lovely day out starting at Ljubljana with lots of history and plenty of things to do and see. The castle was very interesting, reached by a very efficient funicular. Ljubljana was lovely, clean and tidy. Bled is another lovely town & we took the pletna boat to Lake Bled, which is very relaxing & the island was interesting. Our guide was brilliant, very informative and helpful and she looked after us very well.

Absolutely amazing day on this small group tour. Our driver and guide Maja could not have been better. She was warm welcoming and friendly, knowing exactly when to offer information and when to let us all have a snooze. The two destinations were delightful and well worth visiting. The trip allows just the right amount of time to see what is essential. I'd recommend going with the funicular option to the castle as several interesting parts of it are free and the views are superb. I also really enjoyed the boat ride to the island at Lake Bled, €20 which you pay to the boatman. Journey takes about 20 minutes and while the island is tiny it is lovely to walk around and take pictures of the church. Wonderful day all round despite some rain. Thank goodness Maja had umbrellas!

This tour was a lot of fun. Slovenia is a beautiful country and walking around Ljubljana was a treat. So many picture perfect spots. Tomas our guide was great pointing out the best places to eat and take pics. He was a perfect mix of helping, giving us great information, and letting us do our own thing. Especially loved how he arranged our boat ride at Lake Bled. Such a treat to be rowed by a prior Olympian. Great day overall.

Our tour guide Maya was fantastic. The car ride was easy and we got lots of great recommendation about what to do to make the most of our time in each location and Zagreb. The car ride is quite long but comfortable and they break it up with the intermediate stop of Ljubljana. Lots of free time to explore each location, they answered all of our questions about what best to do and gave us a real feel for croatia as a whole.
