#LisboaLove Walk

Description
This is Lisboa's alternative walk. It mainly explores alleys, courtyards and shortcuts. I have started one year ago (on other platform) and it became #1 walk in the city. This July '19 I'm glad to offer it on TripAdvisor and I'm feeling very enthusiastic! I'll provide historical info about our country, but also culture, facts and Lisboa traditions. It is very family friendly, so if you like to walk and are interested about this beautiful city, this is you choice! Especially as a first contact since I include tips for food, Fado, literature and simple things like how to get transported around the place. Simple but normally very useful. We do it in a light and funny way. This experience is all about the genuine Lisboa: in the most part of this unique promenade we won't meet other foreigner visitors. Except some places we can't skip...

We had a great walking tour of Lisbon with Humberto. He was very knowledgeable and fun. he guided us through the neighborhoods and it was fascinating to learn what makes each of them unique. Highly recommend!!
Humberto’s tour of the different neighborhoods nestled within Lisboa was a treat for my husband and I. We felt like we explored the downtown district like a true local. Humberto touched upon the important historical details of each neighborhood along with the most important events of Portugal’s long rich history. I loved how personal the tour felt because he showed us some meaningful landmarks in the city, including his childhood home, schools, and hangouts. He answered all of our questions thoughtfully and honestly. He kept the energy light hearted and amusing. He points out the top local places to eat and see. You can really feel how much he loves Lisboa, his culture, and the rich history that is alive and thriving in Portugal. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour. One of our memorable moments of celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary. Thank you, Humberto! -Nahir and Christian
Real local with a deep knowledge of Portugal. Really entertaining and insightful person. It's a walk you won't regret!
Had a solo tour today with Humberto and will book again! His love of history and poetry is inspiring and he took me to spots I would never discover on my own. He even pointed out his childhood haunts—school, grandmas home, bakery—and had charming stories to relate about his own history here in Lisbon as well as about the political and social story of Portugal.
My husband and I were looking for an offbeaten path tour by a local person. Humberto delivered exactly what we were looking for: 2.15 hours of history and daily life and future of Portugal and Lisbon by local resident. We were able to see/ walk thru neighbourhoods winding streets, school and few churches. We were able to see how backstreets look like. He also showed few view points which we wouldn't have found it on our own. We were able to ask questions about daily life in Lisbon and felt like we were walking and talking to a friend. We highly recommend Humberto and his your. Thank you Humberto.
Humberto was an excellent Guide, full of historical and political information about each of the places we visited or passed. He also recommended services and restaurants, all of which were of a very satisfactory standard.
The perfect way to ground your Lisbon trip in history, culture, and humor. We loved the guide’s deep knowledge and adoration of the city that comes from growing up and living here. He was friendly, kind, and a wonderful ambassador for the city. This is a great value!
We walked through the Bairro Alto neighbourhood and learned some general and different facts about the area and Portugal since the end of Salazar's dictatorship. It was our second choice for a walking tour, and should probably be yours too.
Humberto was amazing! Very informative, knowledgeable, professional and a joy to be around! We enjoyed his tour and would highly recommend for everyone wanting to experience this city of Lisbon in the best way! He is a local and shares so much love for Lisbon! Such good energy and takes into account ages and actual gets to know you as a person. Loved him!
Humberto, as a native, was full of knowledge and had amusing stories to tell. It was an easy walk and I recommend him to anyone.
