Important Information
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- BAD WEATHER: in case of bad weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel the tour up to 1 hour before departure. Communication will take place via email. For this reason, please always check your email inbox for new messages. The whole cost of the tickets will be refund.
- PHISICAL REQUIREMENTS: our tours are made to be joined by anyone, especially beginners. The distances are relatively short and no particular skill or strength is required. Nonetheless, good physical shape and a weight strictly less than 100kg are required. The instructor reserves the right to check the weight of the participants and to prevent anyone weighing 100kg or more from starting. No refund is provided in this case.
- CHILDREN: the minimum age to join our tours is 6 years. Up to the age of 12, children will have to go in a double kayak together with an accompanying adult. From 12 years up there are no limits. The adult with a child in a double kayak must be in very good physical shape to drive a double kayak (longer and heavier) alone. The cost of the ticket for a child is lower than for an adult. For this reason the instructor reserves the right to check his identity document before departure which the adult is therefore required to bring with him. In the event that an age is different from that declared at the time of booking or is not compatible with participation in the tour, the instructor reserves the right to request an addition to the cost of the ticket or to prevent departure. No refund is provided in the latter case.
- WHAT TO BRING: sunscreen, half liter bottled water (to put under the bungee in front of the kayak seat), anti-nausea medicine (to be taken before the trip if you suffer from seasickness)
- CLOTHING: swimsuit, T-shirt, water shoes (closed shoes that can get wet as an alternative. Flip-flops are not recommended), hat, sunglasses with safety lanyard.
- PERSONAL BELONGING: we will keep non-bulky valuables such as wallets, cell phones and car keys. Small bags or backpacks can be stored in the hatches of the kayaks or in the car of the guide. Be careful because in the hatches the backpack could get wet and we are not responsible for any theft of anything stored in the guide’s car.
- SEA KAYAKING SKILL: the course for beginners, has the task of making everyone, especially beginners, able to go kayaking with the minimum skill required for carrying out the trip. However, it may happen that, despite the course for beginners and the instructor’s tips given in the water, the minimum skill required for carrying out the tour are not achieved. For example, an insufficiency in balance may occur which causes repeated capsizing or in the execution of the circular stroke to change direction. Unfortunately, in a group experience the instructor in the water cannot dedicate a lot of time to a person who may be in difficulty since during this time the entire group remains without a guide and a longer time could be dangerous for the success of the tour for the entire group. In these cases, at the sole discretion of the instructor in the water, it will not be possible to join the tour and the person will be accompanied to the starting point. A refund of 50% of the ticket cost is expected.
- PARTICIPANTS MINIMUM NUMBER: if the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to 1 hour before departure. Communication will take place via email. For this reason, please always check your email inbox for new messages. The whole cost of the tickets will be refund.
- PICTURES: the guide will take numerous pictures during the kayak tour and participants will receive the link to download them for free via email. It is not recommended to carry your mobile phone with you as it could get damaged or fall into water and furthermore its use represents an unnecessary source of distraction.
- KAYAK SINGLE OR DOUBLE: The number of single and double kayaks is limited, it is not possible to choose them in advance. The guide will assign them based on the preferences of the participants and technical evaluations. If you want a double, for example, usually, you can choose it. We have four double kayaks. However, there may be children under 12 in the group who must go in a double kayak accompanied by an adult. Only in that case might they not be enough. But this is quite rare.
- The experience is not suitable for people weighing more than 100kg

Superb sea trip, much less touristy and atypical, I recommend it 100 percent. We discovered superb places that are not accessible by boat. Marco accompanied us and showed us around superb places, very professional. We were very well supervised, very professional and passionate, a very good privileged moment with the family.
Wonderful experience and very good hospitality. Marco does everything to make us feel comfortable and safe. He explains well the places we visit, and the cherry on top is the little walk in one of the caves. He takes the time to take beautiful photos that he sends us afterward. Thank you, Marco, for this beautiful moment.
It's the perfect introduction to kayaking in the best possible place with the best guide. The caves and the see are beautiful, it is definitely worth
Wonderful morning sea kayaking and exploring the caves near San Maria Di Leuca. Good instruction on shore for beginners and time to practice in the water before we set off. We were a group of 3 plus our fantastic guide, Marco, so we had plenty of time to explore the caves and enjoy a refreshing swim. Would highly recommend this experience!
Awesome morning with Marco on the kayaks! We were a group of 3 friends and ended up with a private tour as we were the only booking. Marco was friendly, informative, and gave us comprehensive instruction at the start so that we were confident on the water. The tour includes going into multiple sea caves, a swim, and a short cave walk. Very unique and beautiful experience. Marco takes photos along the way which he uploads to share in Google Drive the next day. Make sure you're happy to get everything you bring wet. The meeting spot is a small boat ramp and parking (note no toilets). Do not hesitate to book, this was the best activity we did in Puglia!!
Unique experience discovering the caves of Leuca, breathtaking places and swimming in waters of spectacular colors.
An excursion, indeed an experience that is worth living, thanks also to the professional and very friendly guide Marco.
We made a very nice trip, saw beautiful caves along the way and also been into the caves the last one we even walked through. We had a very skilled instructor who also explained it very clearly how to kayak. Very successful morning. Highly recommended.
The sea and scenery were gorgeous, an amazing part of Italy. A 5 out of 5 for sure. However, was quite disappointed with the guide (rate a 2.5 or 3) The kayak lesson was quick, yet well done, it was what we needed to get out and kyak on the sea. The guide was always far ahead, very rarely checking on the group of kayakers he was responsible for. Especially on the way back. I honestly don't think he would have noticed a missing kayak until returning to the original point of departure. Our guide and the partner who helped the group get in the kayaks at the start, and out when we returned, were quite abrupt. The kayak experience itself, the caves, the coastline, the gorgeous blue water was amazing, So beautiful, a definite must when in the south of Italy.
Very funny and interesting experience, very competent and nice instructor. Great choice even for those who have never used kayaks.
