We enjoyed making the dough for the Orecchiette pasta and then shaping it. Unfortunately, the teacher explained very quickly, which made it feel like we were rushing through the course. We were very disappointed with the tomato sauce that the finished pasta was served with; it tasted like sauce from a package. The local wines were okay. All in all, we had hoped for more for the price...
Dear Larissa, This is a Pasta Workshop with a specific duration during which we teach you how to make a dough and how to shape it into pasta. Our tomato sauce is made fresh every day. The price you pay includes: a culinary workshop, a staff at your disposal, a location, 4 glasses of wine and the food.
It was very nice and the hosts were very friendly! We made pasta again when we returned to France :-)
Had a nice cooking workshop and everything was kindly explained with a piece of history! Friendly, hygienic and delicious food!
In the sewing workshop in English and Italian, the owner found us a guide who spoke French. Very good
Such a great afternoon learning to make orecchiette at Balu! The hosts were lovely and so knowledgeable, and we truly enjoyed our experience! The wine pairings were excellent and the lesson was fantastic. Thank you!

A great fun way to spend the afternoon in Lecce. Lots of laughs
It’s relatively basic, the 2 ladies that run it are lovely but could elevate the experience to another level with a few improvements
You too Finbar, relatively basic, raising the bar :) We are very proud of our experience. And enjoy it the way it is. Hospitality is our language. Of course you are lovely too ;) Anyway we enjoyed your company... Thank you for your visit.
