Learn to Cook Moroccan Family Recipes with a Marrakech Native in Her Home
Description
Join your host Hind at her home to cook a traditional Moroccan meal from recipes she has perfected over the years. In your hands-on cooking lesson, you will learn to make two to three dishes from scratch. The lesson will last about two and a half hours and you will prepare an authentic tajine, zalouk (eggplant salad) or taktouka (a zesty dip of cooked tomatoes and roasted peppers) and couscous. If there is anything in particular you would like to learn, feel free to ask Hind ahead of time. Once you're done cooking, you will sit down at the dining table to share the meal you helped prepare with Hind. Experience a taste of true Moroccan cuisine and dive into the country's wonderful culture with this welcoming local. You will leave with a full stomach, new cooking skills and wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime!

A great hotel, very friendly staff, everything clean and well furnished, you feel very comfortable, just as a welcome guest. The morning buffet uniquely lacks nothing whatever your desire. Price performance agrees you will come back very gladly.
Our host Hind was really wonderful --she was very welcoming, and cooked a delicious meal for us. It was great to see a different part of town and spend some time in a Moroccan home. It was interesting to watch her cook using traditional methods. While we enjoyed our time, we were a bit disappointed however that we didn't get to do much cooking ourselves. We would recommend this experience for people who want to taste a home-made meal but not for people who want to learn how to cook a meal.

I had the pleasure of cooking with Hind in her lovely apartment in the new city. She is warm, funny and welcoming. We made harissa, zalouk and beef with vegetable couscous. You will not only learn about food but also Moroccan culture. Hind is a gem. I highly recommend this over the touristy restaurant classes!
