Four of us joined this while travelling together, and it ended up being one of the most relaxed days of our trip. Everything ran on time, and we didn’t have to worry about transport or planning. What stood out was how little effort it took on our side—just show up and enjoy.
Travelling alone, I was mainly looking for something straightforward, and this delivered exactly that. The group was small enough that I never felt lost in it, and the guide kept things clear without overexplaining everything. A comfortable way to see the area without stress.
We did this as a family of four and appreciated how manageable the whole day felt. The transitions between stops were smooth, and there was never a moment where we felt rushed or waiting too long. Our kids were comfortable throughout, especially during the scenic drive sections. It felt like a properly planned day rather than a hectic tour.
We were a small mixed group of travellers, and the experience managed to accommodate everyone’s pace surprisingly well. Some wanted photos, others wanted quiet time, and both were possible without friction. The guide kept things organized without being overly present.
We travelled as a family of four, and the day felt perfectly paced for all ages. The drive was comfortable, with plenty of small stops that kept the kids engaged without feeling rushed. What stood out most was the balance between guided commentary and free time. By the end of the day, we all felt like we had experienced something meaningful together rather than just ticking off sights.
The city has very distinct atmosphere, especially when walking along the streets near the main landmarks. Everything feels historic and well preserved. That said it's the most balanced place. Still, for a tour it definitely delivers and feels worth it.
I have to admit, I don't remember all the names of the places we saw there were so many beautiful buildings, squares, monuments...my brain just couldn't keep up. Even our guide, Leonardo, tried helping me remember them by explaining in simple ways but still, it didn't fully stick in my mind. What I do remember clearly is how knowledgeable and professional he was. The way he explained history, stories, and small details made the city feel alive. You could tell he really knows what he's talking about, not just memorizing information. In the end I'll say it was great from start to finish.
To begin with, Our tour guide was 30 minutes late meeting our bus at our first stop, the Arc De Triomphe. No narrative was given about the site. Nor did we get the opportunity to go inside. We only saw the Eiffel Tower from a vista above the city where more time was wasted waiting for one person to use the pay toilet, before we proceeded to the vista. The tour guide gave limited info, if any, about the sites we visited, or rather, passed by. People were asking questions about interesting, historic looking buildings as we drove through the city and were told they "were nothing". The guide did not have control of the tour, or management of the time, and as a result, we ended up at Notre Dame with less than 20 minutes, which was supposed to have been an hour of free time, which made it impossible to go inside the Cathedral. The river cruise was a waste of an hour which could have been better spent with more time at Notre Dame and it's surrounding shops and restaurants. This tour was a big disappointment.
We regret to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns you raised: 1. Our guide arrived on time. The delay entering Paris was due to a restroom stop requested by the majority of participants, which we accommodated for everyone’s comfort. If you do not feel waiting for fellow travelers, we highly recommend to consider booking private tours 2. All of our guides are fully licensed English-speaking professionals with extensive experience conducting tours in Paris and are well-versed in both history and local culture. 3. In full accordance with the tour description, the stop at Notre Dame is a 20-minute exterior visit only. Admission is not included, as the limited time in Paris does not allow for in-depth interior visits. 4. The Seine River cruise is one of the most popular and iconic experiences in Paris. Of course, tastes vary — and while some travelers enjoy scenic activities, others may prefer more time for shopping or dining. 5. This tour is designed within the 10-hour window allowed by your cruise itinerary, including: 6 hours for round-trip transport (Le Havre ↔ Paris) 1 hour for the river cruise and approximately 3 hours for sightseeing in Paris. We understand this feels rushed, but it’s the maximum time permitted by the cruise schedule. If you’d like to see more, we encourage you to share your feedback with your cruise line to advocate for longer port stays in destinations like Paris. 6. If you're seeking a more relaxed experience, with time for a full three-course lunch and deeper exploration, we warmly recommend returning to Paris independently by air for a more flexible itinerary. In conclusion, we kindly remind guests to review the tour description carefully before booking, and to base expectations on the outlined itinerary rather than assumptions or promotional imagery.
I’ll start with the positive….Our Driver was EXCELLENT!! So much traffic, so many people and her maneuvered the bus calmly. On the other hand our guide had such a strong French accent it was very hard to understand him. He had the knowledge but were never sure what he was saying. We did not get a stop at the Arc de Triomphe, or a tour around the Base of the Eiffel Tower. We felt rushed the entire time. The description of the tour was not accurate. The River Cruise on the Thames was very nice. We did enjoy what we saw but this tour could have been so much better with a different guide.
Thank you for your feedback and your kind words about our driver. Let me address a few points you raised: 1. There is no Thames River in Paris 2. All our guides are fully licensed by the state. While 99% of guides in Europe do not speak with an American English accent, they are fluent in international English. If understanding various accents is a challenge, we kindly recommend traveling outside the US more often. 3. The base of the Eiffel Tower is not included in the itinerary of this tour 4. The Arc de Triomphe was visited as scheduled. - it’s that large arch where your guide joined the group after your arrival from Le Havre 5. We understand that the tour may have felt fast-paced. You may address this concern to your cruise line, since due to the limited port time in Le Havre, we have only 10 hours total—6 of which are used for transfers, 1 for the river cruise, and 3 for sightseeing in Paris. For a more leisurely experience, we recommend visiting Paris by air to allow more time to explore at your own pace. Safe travels!
The bus picked us up at the cruise port. It was a bit of a walk to where the busses pick up but it was doable. The bus was very comfortable for the trip to Paris. We got to Paris and picked up the guide. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We drove around Paris and saw many sights. We even circled around the Arch de Triumph. We got out of the bus to take pictures of the Eiffel Tour. We didn't go up close or inside but got really good pictures. We continued around the city and saw all the keys buildings and points of interest including Notre Dame. We were taken to a boat where we cruised the Seine. We went right passed Notre Dame and many other places. It was a nice boat trip. Just need to make sure you are dressed for the occasion. It was pretty cold in mid-March. The bus then took us back to the port in plenty of time to get back on the cruise ship. We make a stop going to Paris and coming back from Paris to use the restroom and buy a snack. There was no time in Paris to stop and eat. Good to have a snack with you in your bag or purse. Given the amount of time we had, we got to see a lot.
