This was a good way to fill a 6 hour layover! That said, we had 8 people in the van (4 adults and 4 kids). It was hard for anyone not in the front seat to hear the information and to see what our guide was showing us. However, we got to see lots of highlights and not sit in the airport for so long!
We had a wonderful tour! Kamal was terrific and went above and beyond for us and we got everything on our list covered and even more!
Saw all the key sites in one afternoon. Our driver was friendly, informative and flexible. We even worked in a Pub stop for Fish and Chips!
Wonderful experience!! We had an amazing guide who was informative and helpful and accommodating. We were definitely lucky to have the guide we did - he really made the trip a 5 star experience.
This was an amazing tour. We hit all the highlights & even got a fish & chips meal in. Our guide couldn’t have been better.
Our driver Kamal was excellent. He was flexible with the itinerary, he helped with our bag from the airport to the beautiful car. He told us where to go for taking great photos. He waited for us the entire time right where he said he would be. We saw all the major sights and had a great pub meal.
Thank you for your great review.
Please know that the clock on the tour starts running the minute your plane touches down. For us, that meant that our tour was over long before we needed to be returned to the airport. In addition, they do not provide a tour guide, only a driver to drive you around London. There was very little commentary or explanation of what we were seeing. It was not the driver's fault because they were clearly not a tour guide. The young woman who was our driver was very nice and did her best to point out some things but she was not a tour guide. For the price we paid, it was not worth it at all. We were returned to the airport and had 4 additional hours to wait before our flight which was disappointing after spending so much money on this tour.
Thank you for your kind review. I am very disappointed that you felt unhappy with your layover tour. When you arrived in the airport, you were met by one of our representative, who welcomed you and then took you all to your coach. our coach driver drove you all to London with live commentary from our assistant, pointing out all the important places on the way to your first stop, which was Buckingham palace. once in Buckingham palace,, you all got off to look around and take pictures. Our assistant gave you all the history of Buckingham palace. Then you were driven to Westminster Abbey, again our assistant gave the full history behind Westminster abbey Big Ben House of Commons London Eye Westminster Bridge. Then you were driver to St Paul's Cathedral. were our assistant went along with you to show and give information about the cathedral and Millennium bridge. Then you were driven over London bridge and Tower Bridge, giving you a panoramic tour of tower of London. Then we took you to a Fish and chips restaurant. our assistant went inside sat you all down and then returned after you finished your lunch, put you all in the coach heading to back to the airport. On this tour no guide is included but because you were a big group and boarding coach in Heathrow can some time be very daunting, we sent our assistant and kept him with you right through out the tour. we thought you would appreciate and give us a five star.
Alex did a wondering job!! We were able to see everything we wanted in a short time. Highly recommend!
Thank you for your kind review
He was very knowledgeble for a lay over tour it was perfect. We saw all the major sites, and he had us back to Heathrow in time for our flight
