Really special experience in an invite only tea house where you get to sit and chat with the Geiko. Generous food and drinks offering and Kazu was a friendly insightful guide too!
This was so unique and unforgettable experience.
First meeting with a Geiko who was enchanting, funny, talented and ensured we had a lovely evening. Everything about the evening was very enjoyable: the food and drink were excellent and plentiful, the hostess was great fun; our interpreter / translator was superb; the setting authentic; even the street outside was atmospheric. Like being a part of living history.
My daughter and I enjoyed a lot the tour. We had a great time. It was an incredible experience to meet and be entertained by a Maiko (Geisha in training) while we ate dinner. Taiga was very nice, friendly and fun. Taiga shared a lot of information about the Geishas and Kyoto. I highly recommend this tour!
My mom and I had a great time on this tour with Taiga as our guide. The walk to dinner was very beautiful and informative. Taiga did a good job explaining the important spots and culture on the way to dinner. At dinner we were pleased to see they could accommodate gluten free for me. We had the meiko Tomieri at dinner she was very friendly and danced beautifully. The game with her was also very fun. Taiga did a great job of translating the conversation back and forth for us.
Amazing learning experience. Geiko san was amazing. So were the tour guide.
I had an incredible experience with the tour and dinner. Kazu-San taught me many fascinating things about the Gion district and how the tea houses operated. It was an honour to be in the company of such incredible individuals. Definitely a highlight of my trip!
