You will visit the Crown Jewels gallery , a world-famous, unique collection of sacred and ceremonial objects. - Parts of the Tower are not pushchair friendly due to the cobbled ground. Buggy parks are located in few areas.
- If you get there by taxi, as the Welcome Centre is on a pedestrian street, tell the driver to drop you off on Petty Wales.
- Nearest undergroud station is Tower Hill
- We suggest wearing comfortable shoes
- The Tower of London is mostly an outdoor site, you will only be indoors for part of the tour.
- Please wear warm cothing during the winter.
- This tour suitable for for kids older then 5 years, younger kids can join the tour without participating
- Please be aware that the queue for the Crown Jewels can be long in the high season
- You will see the Crown Jewels but guiding in the jewel house is not allowed
- You will skip the tickets line but security checks are Inevitable
- PLEASE NOTE: you will have pre-booked tickets but it is not possible to skip-the-line at the Tower of London.

Wonderful experience. Our guide, Grace, was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She was engaging and eager to know what our family was most interested to learn. My husband, young adult kids and 5yo youngest all enjoyed our tour and got so much from it! Highly recommend

The guide was late and he wasn’t very informative. He was also on his phone a lot and only talked to us if we asked questions.

Our family of five had an incredible private tour of the Tower of London, and we can’t recommend it enough! Our guide was fantastic with our kids (ages 10, 10, and 12), keeping them engaged with fascinating stories and encouraging lots of questions. She had a great way of making history come alive, making sure both the kids and adults were learning and having fun. The tour was on the longer side, but it was so engaging that the time flew by. We left with a deeper appreciation for the Tower’s history and had a truly memorable experience—highly recommend for families!
Mehru was awesome! She was knowledgeable about all aspects of the Tower of London. She kept my 10-year-old daughter and me engaged the entire three hours: we learned about the history of the City of London, the evolution of the Tower of London to what it is today, the Crown Jewels, and we counted many, many lions along the way. I’d highly recommend Mehru for a kid-friendly guide who also takes great photos and even gave my daughter a gift at the end!
We did the private, 3 hour, family tour. It was exactly what we hoped for and worth the extra cost of the regular tours. Ben was our tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable and great with our two boys. We went at our own pace, had plenty of time to sit for lunch, and got to see everything without rushing.
Lucy was fantastic. Patient with our two girls and passionate about sharing English history. Gave great advice about how to see the Jewels efficiently while avoiding crowds as best as possible. Well done!
