The Khantoke Dinner and Cultural Show at the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center are based around the traditional Thai dinner and dancing show. For the Khantoke dinner guests sit on bamboo mats on the floor and are served a range of northern Thai food. While you sit and eat, a variety of Traditional Thai dances are shown on stage including sword dancing and a popular drum performance. Throughout the show, your food is topped up and there is also an option to order beer, soft drinks, or whiskey. The main dining area of the building has some stalls selling hill tribe handicrafts as well as a display of traditional Thai house design. • Taste a homemade Khantoke dinner of small tasting dishes such as curry, minced pork, and fried pumpkin. • Witness time-honored dance and music performances from local hill tribes. • Spend a cultural evening experiencing a tradition that originated in Chiang Mai

- Child ticket age between 4-7 years and must have a height between 90-135 cm
- Children below 90 cm. height is free of charge and no need to buy a ticket but to reserve for the seat, customer should remark when making a reservation to get a proper seat
- In any case, if your booking isn't matched with reality when you show upfront (such as child's age, child's height, the number of people and etc), you are responsible to pay the additional charge upfront for the tour
- On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel a tour, we will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund
- Please advise us ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions or cannot tolerate spicy food.
- A seat change may be subject to a 50 THB fee per person and could lead to delays in food preparation exceeding 15 minutes.

I did not see when bought tickets, a choice between western seating and Lanna (sitting on floor), and on the floor you had to balance your plate on your lap, And I was wearing a dress. We are 65/73 years old, and had to ask to move to a table, there should be more clear info on this when you order the tickets! Some of the food was very good, and some not. Example, we have had "sticky rice" numerous times here in thailand, and at this dinner thickness was like glue, no taste, and difficult to eat. Numerous dances in the show, but mostly so similiar it got boring.

The show was very good and provided cultural dances and music. We sat on the floor with pillows and not offered a choice of seats. Food was good but observed others eating different food. We were not offered a choice. Service was very good. Enjoyed the show and recommend.
