The bus was very old and in need of replacement, toilet was very dirty with lots insects flying around.
Was a wonderful experience. It would be more if we left later than 5:30 PM. The trip was smooth and the driver was good.
The boat ride and crew were awesome and helpful. The reef was okay, but maybe we didn’t venture out far enough. Beautiful day trip. The bus ride was uneventful. Was supposed to be in English, but the driver apologized that he was still learning. So we just got a few sentences as to where to get off and back on. Nice bus though.
We started at around 6-50 am from the hotel in south beach in a double decker coach with Louis as guide and Benny as driver and reached McDonald at around 9-15 am for a quick bite. Louis informed us about various activities in Key West right from Trolley Bus, Conch Rail, Snorkeling, Parasailing etc. We had chosen Trolley bus with hop on hop off facility at a cost of $55. It takes us for a round in Key West with 13 stops. Temperature was very hot. You need to have water to save yourself from dehydration. Bus from Miami will drop you near stop no.2 of trolley bus. You should buy water, beverage etc at a very reasonable price in the convenience store named New Market near stop no.2. We got down at stop no.11 near the milestone of southern most point of USA 90 miles away from Cuba. We had taken our Cuban lunch at the southeast restaurant near milestone and it was delicious. You get excellent varieties of conch and shell since Key West is known as Conch state. Due to very hot climate, it is difficult to enjoy at this time. Lots of places to see but one should come during winter.
Just want to say I’m very dissatisfied with trying to cancel our reservation for key west vbecause we were on a cruise and had no cell phone service and as soon as I got service when the ship docked, which happened to be 1 hour after the 24 hour cancellation date. If there would have been service, I would have cancelled the tour. We decided to cancel since the cruise was very tiring. Plus 3 of those to attend got sick. Due to your policy I would not recommend anyone to book a tour through your company. I even bought at sea service from Verizon and still could not use my phone. That is a lot of money to ever chance it again.
Our experience at Key west was good it’s a nice city, however the transport was awful we travelled as a couple but couldn’t even sit together!! As there was no room, we would have thought arrangements would be made for people travelling together to sit together!! It rained a bit on our way back and THE BUS STARTED LEAKING!!!! Literally had water dripping from the ceiling of the bus on passengers it was so uncomfortable!! Terrible travel considering it’s a long drive from Miami to Key West!!
Cindy was great. Great driving very caring about her customers Took care of us for the trolly Don’t take trolly. Not worth the cost
The trip was long, a lot of travel by coach, which isn’t a problem, the driver great, but there were a few trips on offer, I did the glass bottom boat which was amazing, guide was informative. I felt there was too much to see and do, the conch train looked interesting as did a few historical sites. In all honesty could have done with a week there.
Nice views of the ocean. However, the driver of the bus talked on his phone during the majority of the ride and back - Not very safe for driving.
It was great to sit back and allow someone else to drive from Miami to Key West. This allowed my family and I to fully experience this island and not worry about being too tired to drive back.
