Bodbe Monastery is one of Georgia’s most important religious sites, located near the town of Sighnaghi. It is the burial place of Saint Nino, the 4th-century woman who brought Christianity to Georgia. The monastery complex, surrounded by cypress trees and flower gardens, offers a peaceful spiritual atmosphere and spectacular views over the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. Today, it is both an active convent and a popular pilgrimage and tourist destination.
Sighnaghi, often called the “City of Love,” is a charming hilltop town in Kakheti. Surrounded by defensive walls with watchtowers, it offers cobblestone streets, colorful 19th-century balconies, and stunning views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.
The Sighnaghi city walls, built in the 18th century by King Erekle II, stretch for about 4 km with over 20 watchtowers. They are among the longest fortification walls in Georgia and offer panoramic views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.
Telavi, the capital of Kakheti, is a historic town known for its blend of culture, markets, and royal heritage. One of its landmarks is the giant plane tree, over 900 years old, standing proudly in the town center and considered one of the oldest trees in Georgia.

Thank you guide Henrietta for the excellent tour to Kakheti❤️❤️❤️ a very interesting guide , told a lot of new stories
Guide was very good at english and he was doing his best to explain us everything and make us feel good. We didn't like wines on the first wine tasting, but on the second they were really delicious. Lunch was very late and we didn't like the restaurant so much and it was more expensive than the others.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear our guide made the experience enjoyable and informative. We appreciate your honest thoughts about the wine tastings and lunch stop — your comments help us improve and choose better options for future tours.

The excursion was quite long, but it flew under the radar and with great pleasure. In the guide's story, it all made for a lively, interesting story. They tried different wines, compared them, caught flavors and aftertastes - and never got bored. On the contrary, time flew under the radar, and the desire to learn more only grew. Special thanks to tour guide Garik! Smart, incredibly pleasant and charming man with warm energy and a beautiful serve. With it, the tour turns into a real pleasure: easy, interesting, humorous.
