Isle of Skye, Fairy Pools & Highlands 3 Day Tour from Edinburgh

Discover Scotland Tours is by far one of the best tour companies I have had the pleasure to use. Very personal to one’s needs, very responsive, and extremely helpful. We actually did a 6 day Mull, Iona, and Skye tour, but that was not an option. The time was perfect. I traveled with my daughter and she has been telling everyone about her experiences, especially the Fingle Cave and the Isle of Ulva and Iona. We had such a great time. We had Colin the first three days and Scott the last three. Both were exteemely informative and extremely knowledgable.

Overall an excellent experience. My driver was Dave and I truly appreciated his commitment to making the most of our stay. He made sure we had time to do everything and though it was a 3 day tour it felt longer. He was also very funny and shared lots of stories. My only comment is about the bed and breakfast I stayed in at Kyleakin excellent service, very clean just the breakfast could improve. Also, they didn’t let you eat takeout in the room, and Kyleakin has only two restaurants, one of which was closed because it’s Sunday and the other barely wanted to give me takeout because it was pretty busy. There was nowhere else nearby I could eat.

Great 3-day tour of the Highlands, Isle of Skye and Loch Ness with Stuart. Packed in many experiences and spectacular scenery. And our accommodation on Skye booked through Discover Scotland was lovely. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect and we had quite a bit of rain and fog, it didn’t take away from the trip at all. If anything, it made Scotland feel even more magical and mysterious. The mist covering the Highlands and Isle of Skye created an unforgettable atmosphere that perfectly matched the beauty of the landscapes. A huge thank you to our guide and driver, Chris, who was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the journey. His stories, local insights, and excellent driving made the trip enjoyable despite the weather. Scotland is an incredibly beautiful country, and this tour gave us the chance to see some truly breathtaking places. We wouldn’t change a thing and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Scotland. Rain or shine, it’s an unforgettable experience!

I just returned from an absolutely unforgettable three-day tour of the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye with Gary. He is, without a doubt, one of the best tour guides I've ever had. A fantastic storyteller with a great sense of humor, he kept us entertained throughout the journey. He was thoughtful, approachable, and incredibly accommodating, and it was clear that he genuinely loves what he does. Gary went above and beyond to make the experience special, adding thoughtful little treats and unexpected surprises along the way that made the trip even more memorable. The itinerary was exceptionally well planned. Despite covering so many incredible sights over three days, we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to appreciate each stop. My favorite places were the Isle of Skye and the Fairy Pools, but every part of the Highlands was breathtaking—from gorgeous beaches and verdant glens to fairytale castles, shaggy Highland coos, peaceful lochs, and misty mountains. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the family-run Discover Scotland tour company to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience.
