Edinburgh: Loch Ness, Glencoe and The Highlands

Description
Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour. Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle. Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters. We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here. The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

The best guide , we had a great time and enjoyed every moment of this day ! Thank you , Leon !
Excellent tour and tour guide. Leon was an expert and drove us safely through a difficult terrain. The music selection was perfect! We are so happy we have chosen this tour!
This was a fantastic trip we had today. We enjoyed the day tour with Leon. His knowledge of the region's history is outstanding, and he is a fun guy to travel with. Thank you
I booked this tour on a whim the day before and it was everything I could ask for and more. Keith was our tour guide and he shared great stories, lots of history, and Scottish music with us. Additionally, he had me cracking up laughing all day. This is one of the best tours I have ever done and I highly recommend it. There is ample time at stops and the company prides itself on being timely (which is very appreciated). It is a long day but it was the perfect balance due to the well-curated stops, the views on the bus, and all the information shared. If you are coming to Edinburgh you have to do this tour and you have to book with this company! Thank you Keith and Stewart’s!
