Description

Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour. Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle. Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters. We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here. The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

Amazing trip to the Highlands

Keith kept us informed and entertained for 12 ½ hours. The Highlands were spectacular and shouldn’t be missed. Be sure and book this company!

Disappointed

My wife injured herself in a bad fall the day before the bus ride, she couldn’t walk or go upstairs. We chose not to go on the trip and informed the company taking us. They said they can’t refund us call another number which in turn was the same people who told us to call the other number. We just got back to the states today , tomorrow hopefully going to the doctor with no refund. Sad and disappointed that no one cared to help us.

Great tour

This was a great tour. My friend and I wanted to get out of Edinburgh after we realized we were visiting during Fringe. We wanted something to show us more of the country, and this tour did that. We felt we had a good amount of time at each stop, and return times to the bus were very clear. Keith was a very engaging and entertaining guide/driver. Overall I would recommend this tour. We enjoyed seeing the various scenery, and seeing more of Scotland while we were here.

Great experience! Thank you Neil!

Very fun and polite tour guide, was very honest and would make us have a great time, with proper planning and telling us personal stories and folk tales along the way, he would wait patiently for everyone to arrive at the bus once time was up for our bus stop, would recommend 100% for anyone who is looking for a tour guide, this was my first time paying for a tour guide, thank you so much!

Unforgettable trip! Neil was awesome!

I came to this tour with the intention of seeing all these beautiful sites, and that i did but i also left with an unforgettable experience and with vastly new knowledge and that was all thanks to Neil. He made this tour special! This was a long trip and it didn’t feel like it, from his immersive storytelling to his jokes, every second was memorable. I truly didn’t want the tour to end, I was having a great time! :)

Amazing!

The tour as well as the tour guide Neil was amazing! We saw all the significant places and monuments planned. Our guide made the trip so much more fun and exciting, having shared a bunch of historical and personal stories connected to the places we’ve visited. Definetly recommend this tour and tour guide Neil!!!
