Amr Aswany, our tour operator, did an excellent job to show us around. He understood our needs and tried his every possible means to meet our expectations. Must say he is friendly, sincere and always smile to make our journey very pleasant.
We had a 6 day tour with Amir, we enjoyed our trip because of him! He is kind knowledgeable and friendly! So far the trip has been incredible, Amr Aswany has been insightful on the ancient and current Egyptian history our first day was a tour of the great pyramids of Giza and then to the step pyramids to see the tombs, we are excited for the next couple of days to explore more of this beautiful country
Very well organised and amazing tour guide Amr Aswany with plenty of information and sites to see. Even though it was very hot, it was well organised to keep out of the heat as much as possible. Very delicious food provided and lots of photos!!
We had a day with Omar Haridi as our guide in Luxor. He is such a knowledgeable person on egyptian history and how to get real value from each site visit. His enthusiasm is infectious and we both appreciated the understanding he provided us. Plus he was well respected at the sites which made each viewing easy. Organized through Egypt Portal it has been a lovely experience.

All day touring can be a challenge, especially in warm dusty conditions, and with travlers of varying fitness levels. Amir kept the atmosphere fun and lively as we visited all the sight around Cairo. And even when circumstances beyond his control arose, he was able to pivot and find other fun and interesting activities for the group. I strongly endorse Amir as a tour guide if you are looking to have fun and learn at the same time.
