- You should be comfortable walking ~5km. Please wear appropriate clothing for walking, the weather and the time of year.
- There are 2 optional pub breaks on this trail. Use these to get refreshments or skip if you'd like to carry on. We have no affiliation with these establishments.

A fun self-guided tour that makes you realise how many things you have missed when walking around familiar areas. Thoroughly enjoyed this and will look out for similar activities.
It was a disaster. We got stuck on the first puzzle. We couldn't find the solution and we couldn't move on to the next one. We couldn't get the help we wanted. I wouldn't recommend this activity, which really let us down. What's more, when you use Tripadvisor, treasure hunting becomes very expensive. It was a disaster. We were stuck at the first riddle. We were unable to find the solution and we were unable to move forward. We could not get the help we wanted. I would not recommend this activity which really disappointed us. Plus when you go through Tripadvisor Treasure hunting becomes very expensive.
Hi Katia, So sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the experience - this is quite the opposite of other customers on our experiences. There are multiple "hint" and "lost" directions to help answer the clue - and after multiple incorrect answers you'll be moved onto the next clue. Absolutely great fun! We were a family of 5 adults that chose the City Treasure Hunt. The app is super easy to use so we had no difficulty downloading the clues or posting our answers. The treasure hunt takes you round lesser known areas of the city using clues that were amply challenging. You can also stop off along the way for refreshments! Would thoroughly recommend it to friends or family groups. A fun way to spend a few hours.
I completely wasted my money. It was not possible to change the hint instructions in Italian. So we were forced to do it in English (we lost the first hint just typin "Italian" trying to switch the language). We have only done 4 hints, during the 5th the app has stopped replying. 11 hints are missing, there is no reply even using the numbers in the "contact us" list, nobody is answering using other social of CityDays. Nobody is answering at all. I demand my money back please since tomorrow I'll be leaving London

Much enjoyed by all of us. Clues worked well though not particularly cryptic. Despite having worked in the City for years, it took us to places I had not been to.
Fun experience but was quite hard (well for us it was anyway!!). Was a good way to explore parts of London that you wouldn’t normally see and learn interesting facts and history.
It was a very enjoyable thing to do with teenagers and fantastic seeing parts of London you would otherwise not get to see. You can go at your own pace and find great places to stop for food and drink along the way, some of the cues take a bit of working out, but it’s a real fun thing to do.
Company challenge with 6 teams ploughing through London trying to answer clues. It was interesting to see some parts of London that are hidden away. Some of us did find the clues hard and others breezed it. Only recommendation is to have at least 4 people in your team. We also did this as part of our step challenge for the month so when we all did approx 18k in step that was very welcome too for our step results for the month.
A lot of the streets were closed for planned construction, which the hunt should really account for. This really made the tour a bad experience.
