Great experience- well worth the money

Dave was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions throughout the walk. Dave was very friendly and walked at a pace that suited us as it was a warm morning. Dave also kindly offered to take the photos along the walk so that we had our whole group in the picture. Would recommend this tour as we all thought it was value for money. Thank you Dave.

Long walk

Meeting point needs a prominent landmark, like Achilles statue. Mention length of walk. Dave was great.

Operator response

The meeting point is right next to the Achilles statue. And it’s a two hour walk which is mentioned when you book…

Right on the mark!

Hyde Park. The Mark of a great tour guide is being on time and informative. Being named Mark also doesn't hurt. We were basically did a 2 hour lap of Hyde&Kensington parks which as back to back parks form a fabulous green wedge right in the heart of London. Mark explained the history of Park as well as its contemporary use. We were shown the running tracks as the rough ride tracks for horse riding. Further we learned Lady Di utilised the park and we were shown the royal living quarters at Kensington Palace, backgrounded on the birdlife in the park and even some detailed discussion re British royals as related to the parks. Mark is definitely in the right role and is well versed with all the facts and folk lore. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk and commend it to others

London out of the obvious

We walked with Dave through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. More than a walk through the park, it was a true itinerary through English history, always with curiosity, context and art. Since the parks are very large, the tour is highly recommended for those who want to see some of London's most peculiar landscapes and don't have a full day. The itinerary, along with the conversation, makes everything more pleasant. Special highlight for the guide Dave, who led the tour very well and, in addition to being very didactic, has an English easily understandable, even for those who do not have English as their first language or do not have much familiarity as the British accent. Finally, we recommend it with emphasis for those who explore London more deeply and get out of the most obvious routes, in one of the most beloved parks of the Londoners.

Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens Tour

Amazing tour - enjoyed both the scenic value and educational experience. Despite the weather, we had a great time. Dave was a wonderful tour guide and really tried to connect with our family.

Graeme was a great!

What a great way to start our London experience! Right off the plane and the perfect way to combat jet lag. We had a private tour with Graeme who was lovely. We learned so much about the history of the park and surrounding area. Graeme answered all our questions and was nice to converse with as well. He told us about another tour - a Beatles rock tour - and we signed up to join him again later this week.

Highly recommended

Unbelievable experience and great tour guide. We got lucky and it ended up the private tour. Tons of history and coverage at great pace. Plus the best photography by the guide.
