This was an amazing trip! A true adventure! I've traveled a lot in Asia and never been immersed in the local culture so much as I was in Mongolia. I stayed with multiple families, got to see their way of life first-hand, and freely hiked through some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen. The drive into the countryside can be a bit rough, and this kind of trip definitely isn't for the faint of heart, but if you're the kind of person to get out of your comfort zone then this trip is for you.
