This citadel has been built 1176 AD by Saladin to fortify himself, and stayed as residence for the king till 1902 AD. there your guide will tell you history of the citadel and visit the mosque of Mohamed Ali. Visit the mosque of sultan Qalawun. See panoramic view of Cairo city.
