Today you’ll find replicas of booby traps, sleeping quarters, and barracks to give you a glimpse of the reality during the war. We’ll also meet a war veteran who will act as our guide, giving detailed stories and explanations of the Cu Chi Tunnels that were dug by the Vietnamese as a way to protect themselves from the American offense. The tunnels are a large network of underground tunnels that were built during the war against the French. It was used not only as a means to hide but also to communicate with other soldiers. We’ll explore the labyrinth of tunnels, learning about the history and importance of this site while viewing and exploring the underground passages. - Note: Our beloved Vietnamese war veteran may skip some tour days to rest and recharge due to old age and health issues. The family of Phan Thi Kim Phuc, known as Napalm Girl, will fill his shoes when he is unavailable. Be awe-inspired by their testimonies about Phuc surviving a napalm bomb attack where she was famously photographed fleeing her village naked at nine years old – arguably one of the crucial moments captured during the Vietnam War.

Very interesting. Learned so much from the tour. Also met with a Vietnam veteran who explained the tunnels.
One of the most interactive tours I've been on! Not only do you get to speak to a literal war veteran, you get to go through the tunnels the Vietnamese built to survive. We learned so much from Alex our guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels.
