Depart at 8:00 AM from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel and head to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. Enjoy an unforgettable 2-hour drive to the Mekong Delta along the provincial roads down in the Southern region of Vietnam. Pass rice paddies, pineapple plantations, orchards, and small hamlets. You'll arrive in My Tho at approximately 10:00 AM where you will ride on a local motorboat past Dragon Island, Phoenix Island, and Turtle Island. Stop at the famous Unicorn Island to visit a natural beekeeping farm, and taste honey wine, rice wine, and banana wine. Then take a walk through the village and row along the coconut canal to see daily local life in the Mekong Delta.
Continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motor boat and travel along the lush, green canals, stopping at local Vietnamese restaurant for some traditional food. Later on, enjoy various types of tropical fruits at the orchard garden and listen to traditional music. At the end of the tour, a local boat will take you back to My Tho. From there a bus will drive you back to Ho Chi Minh city, arriving at around 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM.

Unfortunately clocked too fast.. Far too much.. 10-20min boat, coconut farm, small traditional boat, bee farm.. all sales event... The traditional food was very good! The guide was also great!
Booking the tour was seamless, and our experience was truly made exceptional by our guide, Lam. He was polite, funny, easygoing, and spoke perfect English. Lam’s deep knowledge, passion for his work, and informative commentary brought every part of the trip to life. We explored a bee farm and enjoyed honey tea with bee pollen, then visited a coconut farm where we learned how various coconut products are made. Along the way, we encountered crocodiles, elephant ear fish, frogs, mudskippers—and even had the chance to hold a python! Lunch was delicious, and cruising down the Mekong River was an unforgettable highlight. We also had a bike ride around the island, went to see a temple with various buddhas, sample local entertainment and a chance to taste snake wine. We packed so much into one day, and every moment was fun filled and memorable. Huge thanks to Lam for making this such a special experience!
The tour guide Jade was fun from start to finish. She really made the day easy and enjoyable. Very interesting and knowledgeable. Shared so much about the local culture. Catering on this tour was excellent.
