Description
Hike to the top of Table Mountain, one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature & take the cable car back down. There are 2 route options to choose from (please select correct option at booking): A. India Venster, a more adventurous, rugged & technical route to the top. Ideal for those looking for a more adventurous & thrilling way to hike up. Involves rugged, uneven terrain & some rock scrambling. More exciting. Less crowded. Duration +-3.5 hours B. Platteklip Gorge, a more direct, less technical route to the top. Ideal for those looking for the most straightforward way to hike up. Involves hundreds of big rock steps all the way to the top. Less exciting. More crowded. Duration +-2.5 hours Both routes are not easy & require a few hours of steep uphill hiking on rocky terrain to get to the top. Both routes end at the top of Table Mountain where we will take the cable car back down (if open). If the cable car is closed (due to weather/maintenance), we will hike back down the more direct route.

This was an amazing hike and incredible experience I will remember for my entire life. My guides, Codi and Kurt, were extremely attentive, knowledgeable, shared some important facts about the history of the area and people. I did a sunrise hike with Codi and sunset hike with Kurt, and saw an incredible views of the mountains, water, wildlife, and even a double rainbow! Both Table Mountain and Lion’s head are stunning and not to be missed while in Cape Town. I highly recommend this trail and these guides. 10 out of 10!!
Very nice hike. The sunrise views were definately worth getting up early for. The guide Jean gave lots of great info about the mountain and Cape Town. I did the hike solo and the 3 hours flew by with Jean.
What a great experience with a great guide Miguel was the best. Steep hike with plenty of panoramic views a bunch of scrambles up the side of mountain so come prepared, but the views are so worth it and the people are great.
Hiking up Table Mountain this morning was such an adventurous and unforgettable experience! A big thank you to Cori for his patience, guidance, and encouragement throughout the hike, especially with all of us moving at different paces. He kept us motivated and entertained the whole way up, shared great knowledge about the mountain, and even provided lights since we started so early in the morning. Thank you, Cori, for making this such a memorable experience!

Amazing hiking tour! Miguel was very attentive to us and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The whole experience was awesome and I highly recommend it.
We did a sunrise hike up table mountain with Andrea. It was just beautiful and we really liked the climbing sections as well. Andrea was an awesome guide, it was like hiking up with a friend 😊
Had a fantastic time with Cody and the rest of the small group on Table Mountain today. Starting at dawn, we traversed the India Venster trail; a challenging route that we were considering when coming to Cape Town. It was well worth having a guide for our first time up; we felt safe the whole time & had a blast. His advice and humour made the technical scrambles feel easy. And, if you are one for perfect instagram-worthy sunrises this might be for you. 10/10 would recommend.

I was included in a group with the tour guide Codi. He was really experienced with the trail and was able to help me (a begginer) go through few technical climbing spots. I felt secure and that I was doing it correctly all the way. Also, he is a very easy person, explaining with patience things about the mountain, nature and the City. Also worth note the fact that he never let the group split, so we all stood together in a comfortable and safe pace. I am afraid of heights and his guidance was key for me to overcome all the difficult spots.
