Hi5 Tandem Paragliding is a company who love to share the ease, exhilaration and absolute freedom of tandem paragliding flights. Tandem paragliding flights are done from Lions Head and Signal Hill within the spectacular Table Mountain National Park. With a well organized and professional service you can relax and enjoy the ultimate instructional tandem paragliding experience with Hi5 Tandem Paragliding. Seapoint promenade opposite the Winchester Mansion and the fields at the Glen Country Club/Bungalow Restaurant are the two preferred paragliding landing fields. Tandem paragliding flights vary in length as they are very dependent on weather conditions and can vary from about 8 to 15 minutes. We pride ourself on the quality and duration of flights and will paraglide for as long as possible. Our flights are for guests that are 14 years and older, and weighing between 25-100kg. We will also return you to your vehicle on the mountain after the flight free of charge.

On the day of your flight your arrival time and the take-off location will be confirmed two hours before your booked time. For flights from Signal Hill please be sure to park your car in the parking lot. The take-off site is right next to parking lot close to the look out point. Our team will receive you on the mountain and get you ready for your flight with your instructor. During your flight you will have a great view of the Sea Point and surrounding areas, including Robben Island, Green Point Stadium and Table Mountain. Come enjoy the best views that Cape Town has to offer!

For flights from Lions Head, parking is located next to the start of the hiking trail. Our team will meet you at the start/bottom of this hiking trail and you will take a short hike up to the take-off site together. During your flight you will have a great view of Lions Head, the 12 Apostles, Camps bay and the famous Clifton beaches. Come enjoy the best views Cape Town has to offer!

It was a great experience to see Cape Town from a different perspective. We booked for a Friday flight but the weather was too foggy so we had to reschedule it. The team were so accommodating and gave us options on when to glide. We were on standby on Saturday so when the weather went clear, we immediately went up Signal Hill. Francois kept in touch and it was easy contacting him through WhatsApp. The glide was super fun! Francois did some tricky manoeuvres which made the glide really fun! I recommend this activity to visitors of Cape Town. My son enjoyed it as well. I would give the team a double Hi-5 for this experience.

The only problem was -let me explain They only using GoPro to film you and a bit of around you. If I wanted to see my face I could look in the mirror(not a pretty sight) I asked why not (at least as an option) to use insta360(other brands available) for better experience to see surrounding area( btw Rio/Brazil do that and they make a ton of money) They said not many people would be interested. So to have great memory with the view bring your own and believe me you’ll not regret it. Again, good friendly experience, wort doing but…

On my bucket list for years and now I've finally done it! I was a little nervous as always with a one of a kind experience. The morning of take-off I received contradicting information, on the one hand my booking went ahead as scheduled yet about 30min later I was put on hold due to weather conditions. I was informed earlier how paragliding really depends on nature, so it wasn't a big shock. I nevertheless went to the meeting point as my Uber had already been scheduled and planned on reading a book while waiting. It would be a bummer not to be able to fly, but I would understand given the nature of this activity. I was welcomed by Denzel and we had a long and very interesting conversation while awaiting any weather updates. About 1h15min later the weather turned and became flyable. Lamont was my instructor and did a marvellous job giving me very clear instructions on what to do and when. Exactly how I need it in this type of situations. And then the flight itself: awesome, marvellous! Our chute had the quote "This is living" and I cannot agree more! Absolutely recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about Hi5 Paragliding and John. Everyone was patient, clear communication. safe equipment and breathtaking scenic views. There's the sound of wind, silence and being surrounded by nature. Highly recommend. We will go again when we are back in Cape Town.

This was such a fabulous experience and one I would recommend to everyone. The pilots immediately put you at ease whilst fitting your harness and are very calm as well as assured. Once you take off, everything remains calm as you glide over Seapoint and see the fabulous views of Lions Head, Signal Hill and Table Mountain. How long you stay up, depends on the winds, but you will want to stay in the sky as long as possible. The landing, again, assured and well controlled, almost effortless, which shows the skill of the pilots, who have May years of experience. Nothing to be scared of and a total rush. If you get a chance to do this, don’t hesitate to say yes - otherwise you will regret it!

Had a great experience with Hi5, communicative and really made an effort to get us up after weather had delayed it a few times. Denzel looked after us at the top, really friendly and kept us up to date and assured. Heinrich and John were our pilots and they were both amazing. My husband had a great time with John and Heinrich took me. We both felt super safe and supported and the views were spectacular. It really is a truly special experience and would highly recommend!
