Day 2 : Cai Rang Floating Market – HCM ( Breakfast /Lunch ) At Morning: Set out early for a boat trip to the iconic Floating Market, one of the largest and most vibrant in Vietnam. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere as vendors sell fresh fruits, vegetables, and local goods directly from their boats. Watch how traditional rice noodles are made. Afterward, return to the hotel for check-out and transfer to visit a historic house. Join a hands-on cooking class to learn how to make either Bánh Xèo or Bánh Khọt, two traditional dishes of the region. Enjoy the fruits of your labor for lunch. 2:00 PM: After lunch, cycle through the village to experience local life up close. Explore the charming village, interact with friendly locals, and enjoy the peaceful rural surroundings. Finally, return to Ho Chi Minh City, concluding your adventure

It was a very fulfilling and wonderful tour. It was our first tour in Vietnam, but Kaylee kept in touch with us beforehand to confirm it, and we were glad to ask SST to help. It was a comfortable ride on the big bus, relaxed despite the large size of the group, and we were able to run a number of programs smoothly thanks to our tour guide Tom. Tom is knowledgeable, caring and humorous, and has been able to spend time peacefully and happily with the tour members without getting bored of the travel time and the tour. We had life jackets for each person at the floating market and boat travel on the Mekong River, and they let us in for breaks as needed, so we were safe. This tour is recommended for Japanese people to experience the extraordinary.

We had an sending time on the tour, thanks to Kelly and Tom. We did so many different things, it was hard to believe the tour was „only“ two days - bike ride, pagoda visit, cooking class, boat rides, and of course visiting the floating market. Our guide Tom was excellent and made the time fly by during the bus rides with his humorous information. The accommodation was great and the scheduled down time was just right (and needed to process all the new impressions). All over, we were ready glad we had the chance to join the tour!

My family and I had a good time on this tour! We particularly enjoyed the floating market and riding the different kinds of boats. Our tour guide Mia was very engaging and helpful throughout the trip. She is very knowledgeable in different aspects of Vietnamese culture and we learnt a lot! However, the hotel room could be improved. We found the soap rack in the bathroom to be rusty, and we were also unable to connect to the wifi. Other than that, we enjoyed this trip very much. Thank you to SST Travel, Mia, and our bus driver for this unforgettable experience! 😄

The tour operator Ruby was absolutely terrible in terms of customer service. The tour itself was very full-on and the tour guide, Phuoc, was actually very good and professional. Unfortunately, the overall experience was ruined due to poor coordination and communication from Ruby. As a solo traveler on an overnight tour, it did not make sense for me to stay elsewhere, and I had no issue paying for a single room. However, I was never informed that I would not be allowed to carry my luggage on the bus. When the bus arrived, it was completely full with no space for luggage and barely any space for passengers. The limousine van itself was uncomfortable — two seats had a large bump in front, leaving no legroom at all. I don’t understand how passengers are expected to sit like this on an overnight tour after paying the full amount. I messaged Ruby regarding these issues, but she did not bother to respond at all. Only later, near the end of the tour, when it was time to collect the surcharge for the single room, she suddenly became responsive and asked Phuoc to contact me for payment. When I pointed out that she had ignored my earlier message, she finally replied with a generic response saying she would “take the feedback.” The tour itself and Phuoc were good, but the handling by Ruby was extremely unprofessional. I am posting this review along with message evidence so the company cannot later claim they don’t know who I am or deny the situation.

Regarding the single room surcharge, this fee is clearly stated on the product page and was reconfirmed with you prior to joining the tour. At that time, the surcharge was declined. For this reason, our team later needed to contact you again so that the tour guide could collect the payment accordingly. We apologize if this caused any inconvenience or misunderstanding during the trip. Concerning the luggage, we do allow guests to bring suitcases on the bus. However, on that particular departure, the group was quite full, which resulted in limited space for both passengers and luggage. We acknowledge this issue and have noted your feedback carefully so we can improve capacity management in the future. With respect to the response time, December is our peak season, and while we strive to reply to all messages as promptly as possible, responses may occasionally be slower than usual. This was certainly not due to a lack of concern, and we are sorry if this made you feel ignored. We truly value your positive comments about the tour itself and the professionalism of our guide, Phuoc. Your feedback has already been shared internally and discussed to help us improve our coordination, communication, and overall service quality.
