Haunted Dublin Walking Tour

Description
We begin our journey through the darker side of Dublin's storied history in the midst of the famous Temple Bar, before plunging into the dark heart of the old medieval city. On our ghoulish adventure through the city, we'll venture down cobbled lanes and alleyways, getting to the lesser-seen sides of some of Dublin's most famous landmarks, as well as uncover some of the city's best kept secrets, and forgotten corners. Just some of the ghastly things we'll cover on the tour are: - Bram Stoker's Dublin & some of the real-life inspirations for Dracula - Horrifying medieval crime & punishment - Grave robbing & body snatching - The banshee & the dark side of Irish mythology - Hell & The Hellfire Club - Witchcraft in Irish History - Serial Killers, Poltergeists, Headless Horsemen, & much more. . . We love Dublin, and we love showing people around Dublin. This tour is a lot of fun, whether you're interested in the chilling side of Irish History, or just want a unique way to see the city.

Itinerary
We meet in the heart of Dublin's famous Temple Bar
We'll visit the famous Dublin Castle; notorious and feared home of imperial rule for centuries in Ireland and one time workplace of one of the greatest gothic horror writers in History; Bram Stoker.
Famous victorian music hall and beloved concert venue
The Oldest Theatre in Ireland
In the heavenly shade of Dublin's oldest Cathedral once stood a sordid warren of streets known locally as 'Hell'. Playground to the rich and powerful, home of brothels and booze-houses. Here we'll meet some of the characters of this raucous (and at times violent) neighbourhood, including some who's ghoulish presence is still reputedly felt around the streets to this day.
St. Patrick's Cathedral is named after Ireland's patron saint, but it has seen more than it's fair share of sinners over the years. Here we'll hear about some of the ghostly goings on at nearby Marsh's Library, as well as hear stories from the Liberties, and the notorious 'four corners of Hell'.
Oldest public library in Irelands, nestled in the shadow of St. Patrick's Cathedral
The ruins of an old church graveyard, hidden down a dark laneway, right in the centre of the city.
One of the garrisons of the 1916 Easter Rising, flanking the west side of St Stephen's Green Park.
The most famous of Dublin's great Georgian Squares, we will visit this famous old park towards the end of our tour

We loved this! Lee was a great storyteller and good fun. The stories were really intriguing, informative and gruesome but always told in a lighthearted way. Really recomend. A great way to see the city too.
Lee did a great job with the tour. The stories he shared were very interesting and we had a great walking tour of places we may not have known or seen otherwise.

Deedre was amazing! So much information and she was so kind. 10/10!
Our haunted Dublin experience was excellent. Ciarán was very engaging and is an amazing story teller. Be prepared to walk through many neighborhoods of central Dublin and learn about ghosts, urban legends, and the dark history.
We do ghost tours to kick off most of our tourist trips. Such a fun way to learn about a new city. Our guide was knowledgeable and charming.
Deirdre was a delight as we learned about Dublin’s dark and sometimes gory past. Story locations we saw included Trinity College, the church where Bram Stoker was married, the Shellbourne Hotel, Jonathan Swift’s house, and St Stephen’s Green. It was interesting to learn about hauntings both human and fey, and some that could go either way.
Brilliant very entertaining!
Learned alot of history with a side of spooky. Kim did a great job keeping us entertained while seeing some great landmarks of the city.
Lee was a fantastic guide! He knew so much about the history of the buildings/areas that we visited. It was really fascinating and his story telling was second to none. Highly recommend this tour and Lee!
