Itinerary
Enjoy the World’s Leading Distillery Tour at the birthplace of Irish whiskey in Dublin. Follow in the footsteps of the founding fathers of Jameson on the only tour of the original Jameson distillery in Dublin. Your tour Ambassador will guide you for a serving of heritage and history on the definitive Jameson tour experience. Enjoy stories, an engaging and interactive comparative whiskey tasting and of course, a complimentary Jameson signature drink where it all began.
On this fun filled engaging tour you will visit the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction, a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and brings to life the heritage of this world famous dark stout beer. In the company of your local expert guide your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of Guinness while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin and listening to some great stories from your engaging and friendly guide. Your guide will commence your escorted tour at the ground floor Atrium to see the copy of the 9,000-year brewery lease signed by Guinness’ founder, Arthur Guinness, in 1759, and learn about the four ingredients of the iconic Irish stout: water, barley, hops and yeast. Other highlights waiting to be discovered include finding all about the Guinness brewing and barreling process through virtual exhibits, equipment displays and videos on the craft of the coopers — the original wooden barrel-makers. Then, you can continue on to the other floors where you can immerse yourself in the Guinness story through a host of interactive displays and multi-sensory experiences. Discover the key moments in Guinness’ history and advertising and before you leave you may like to visit the Guinness Store to buy some Guinness-branded memorabilia — the perfect souvenir of your visit.

Our guide, Miriam, was great! Very lively and trying to make the best experience for our group. Overall, the Jameson experience was better than the Guinness one, in my opinion. I would do the Jameson one again but not the Guinness. If you could save a little money to just do the Jameson one, do that one.
Outstanding! Our guide Alan was the best of the best! He was knowledgeable, warm, friendly and funny. I went with my husband and thought this was mote “his thing;” BUT to my pleasant surprise, I totally enjoyed it all! I highly recommend this tour of both Jameson & Guinness, and Alan of course! EXCELLENT!
Richard made our trip! He provided so many anecdotes and stories. Worth every penny.
Friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
This tour was fun and immersive. The facility was very beautiful and the tour guide Sean made the experience even better!
This is a great guided walking tour that includes tickets to Jameson and Guinness. Our guide Alan provided colorful information on Irish history and showed us "off the bus tour" landmarks between both locations. This is a great experience for those who wish to see parts of the city on foot and to learn along the way. Tastings at both Jameson and Guinness!
One of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Fergus is a wonderful guide and made the day informative, fun, and funny. It was worth the trip just to take this tour with him 💙
Great to see both iconic spots on one tour. Easy going guide with great stories and a good plan for the tour. Even if you're not a drinker, don't miss these two experiences. One note- quite a bit of walking involved between the two locations. Not hard, be considerable and the Jameson tour is standing only, no sitting down during the presentation.
Really enjoyed the tours of both locations, plus the added knowledge of the walk between the two locations made it more enjoyable.
Dear Harry, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Jameson Distillery and Guinness Storehouse Guided Tour. Combining two of Dublin's most iconic attractions into one experience allows guests not only to enjoy these world-famous brands but also to discover the fascinating history of the Liberties, one of the city's oldest and most historic neighbourhoods. We're especially pleased that you appreciated the guided walk between the two venues. Rather than simply moving from one attraction to the next, our guides use this time to bring Dublin to life through stories of its people, history, architecture, and whiskey and brewing heritage, creating a much richer experience along the way. Thank you again for choosing LetzGo City Tours. We hope to welcome you back to Dublin in the future and perhaps on another of our tours across Ireland or Europe. Warm regards, The LetzGo City Tours Team
