You will join our local historian on an hour and a half walking tour through Avalon. Together you will explore the spooky history and paranormal mysteries of Catalina Island. You will see historic sites, hear personal ghostly tales, and perhaps even spot something unexplained on your camera. Please bring comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket.

Our tire guide was knowledgeable and knew practically everyone in the island. Not only did we get to visit spots I would have overlooked, but he was able to share many experiences from the locals to his own personal. Worth every penny!
Great presentation! Fantastic information.
Very disappointed in our tour guide. We never made it to the casino which is we why we bought this tour. The guide told us more about his family and recent murders than paranormal activity. We left the tour early.

Second tour here; another excellent experience. Phil and Sal are phenomenal, highly recommended. Stories are fascinating. I love the history of the island, but they both convey it in a way that makes these tours the highlight of my experience on the island. Too much to write. Take the tour, you will see!
Great presentation . Lots of unknown history about Catalina Island. The stories about what took place both years ago and within 25 years ago were eerie.
Phil was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable as a 5th generation islander. His personal experiences gave credibility to each story he told. My daughter and I take ghost tours in every town we visit and this one by far was the most credible tour guide we’ve ever had! Hang on to him! He admitted this was his 3rd tour, with time he will become more “polished”, but he has the knowledge and experience people would die for!! He was very attentive to the needs of the group and answered all questions honestly. We both enjoyed the night so much and would recommend Phil and this company to anyone visiting… you have no idea what stories this island holds and what lies beneath!!!
It was a fun walk and definitely got the creeps that night. They told us a story about the Casino and how sometimes people will see a woman on the restroom and how sometimes people will se a completely different face in the mirror. Well for me i looked back at the pictures we took inside the casino theatre and two of my pictures my face looks completely different or disfigured. In one it looked like a crazy smile. And on the other one I look like someone completely different! So creepy. If I’m able to post pictures here I will.
This is my second time taking this tour. I really enjoyed it the first time with a different guide. This time not so great.
Very interesting stories told about several places in town. Murders, accidents and ghosts. Great headset so we could hear our tour guide.
This was a great walking experience and to listen to the history and hauntings of Catalina Island. Jess our guide was AWESOME!!
