Parasailing over Catalina? Beautiful. Getting there? Apparently part of an unexpected scavenger hunt. TripAdvisor sent us to the wrong address, which was a fun way to start the adventure. At that location, they were more than happy to sell us a photo package before informing us that, oh by the way, the boat isn’t actually here. Time to backtrack and find the real departure point. Once we finally located the boat and climbed aboard, we were greeted by two crew members who seemed to be competing for the title of “Least Interested in Human Interaction.” They weren’t rude, but if you were hoping for some excitement, personality, or even the occasional conversation, bring your own entertainment. The actual parasailing was great. Catalina is gorgeous, the views are incredible, and floating hundreds of feet above the water was easily the highlight of the experience. No complaints there. So, in summary: ✔️ Beautiful views ✔️ Safe ride ✔️ Fun time in the air ❌ Wrong address ❌ Unnecessary backtracking ❌ Crew with all the enthusiasm of a Monday morning staff meeting Overall, it was good enough, but not exactly the soaring customer experience I was expecting. Three stars feels about right.
We took our grandsons, age, 11 and 14, to Avalon and they parasail with this company. Every single thing about it was perfect. The crew obviously took its responsibilities very seriously. There was a spirit of community and cooperation on the boat. My grandsons had an amazing experience that will stay with them the rest of their lives. Highly recommend!
This was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend while visiting Santa Catalina Island. I was apprehensive, as this was my first time, parasailing, but it was very smooth & I didn’t even feel like I was 800’ up.
The wind picked up in the afternoon so we were not able to sail. A full refund was offered and we took it. Wish we had more time the next day to try again…
This was the best thing to do in Catalina Island, my husband and I went for our 24th anniversary celebration. When we were up on the parasail a huge group of dolphins started to appear, it was an amazing view/experience. We really loved this ride. 1000/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was such a great experience!! It was a little confusing to find the check in spot but I know that’s a Google Maps issue but it’s all the way at the end of the green dock. They harnessed you in, made sure you had your vest. Then the flight was so fun. Very peaceful up there with no noises to hear. Wasn’t as scary as I thought, I can’t wait to come back and try again!

Very scared of heights, they were great and calming. I thought I had to go with my son, I did not but do not regret the experience.
This was my first time parasailing. Before arriving to Avalon they messaged me with meet up location and instructions. They gave me a number I could call incase I had any questions. The boat ride was really fun, they made sure that we were safe and secure at all times. I would definitely book with them again.
We had such a fun time as a family. We felt safe and secure. We got plenty of time sailing in the air. Our guides were friendly and professional.
