Haunted Boston Ghost Tours

Description
Haunted Boston Ghost Tours, LLC is the oldest ghost walking tour in Boston. Owner, Hillary Kidd, started the company in 2005 as the only tour guide and the company quickly expanded with over 8 tour guides. The concept behind the ghost tours is to tell guests the "darker side of Boston's history" through good, old-fashioned storytelling. The guides do not dress up in costumes, use fake accents, nor rely on theatrics to entertain guests. "Theatrics are not needed when your stories are good, and we tell the entire gamut of creepy stories - ghost stories, haunted locations, murder, the macabre, books bound in human skin; as I like to say, we tell the 'other side' of Boston's history." Haunted Boston Ghost Tours owner, Hillary Kidd

Was great . Has history with spooky stories
Thank you for joining us!
Our guide was very nice and told us stories about the history of Boston. However, this was our last night in Boston and we had already heard all of these stories on our other adventures. There was nothing spooky about the stories. A ghost sitting on the T and a couple in the Omni Parker house. Other than that it was a repeat of history we heard all week. Disappointing because we expected something scary.
hank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your guide and appreciated the time they spent sharing Boston's rich history. It sounds like you had an opportunity to experience several tours and attractions during your visit, and after a full week of exploring the city, it's understandable that some historical information may have overlapped. Many of Boston's most significant landmarks and events naturally become part of multiple tours because they are such an important part of the city's story. Our goal is to present the documented hauntings, local legends, and fascinating history associated with these locations through engaging storytelling rather than relying on actors, jump scares, or manufactured frights. We understand that some guests are looking for a more theatrical or horror-style experience, while others appreciate the historical approach we take. We truly appreciate your feedback and are grateful you chose to spend part of your final evening in Boston with us. We wish you safe travels and hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to our historic city.
This was a really fun walking tour around Boston Common and the historic downtown area of the city. Our tour guide Julie was super friendly and was a great storyteller. She really made the tour fun and brought to life some very interesting stories from the dark side of Boston's past. For me, the spookiest part of the tour was standing on the site of the "Hanging Tree" on Boston Common (you'll know what I mean when you take this tour). The cost of the tour was very affordable. My family and I were really glad to have done this!
Since we started Haunted Boston Ghost Tours 21 years ago it has always been one of our main goals to keep it affordable for our guests, especially in Boston. We sincerely appreciate you joining us and we are happy you had an excellent time!
Julie, our tour guide was an excellent storyteller! She kept you very engaged, especially since it was very cold and windy during our tour. The tour lasted approximately one hour and 20 minutes. It is all walking and standing, with no place to sit down. If that is an issue, I don’t recommend this tour. The cost is $25 per person which is priced perfectly. This tour definitely gives you a different perspective on Boston.
Thank you for joining us and the excellent review!

We met our tour guide Harry at the entrance to the cemetery. Right away I knew it was going to be great. He is full of so much trivia and is a great story teller. We learned tons of new things. I see the city and the birth of our nation in a different way.
Harry is a wealth of Haunted Boston knowledge! Thank you for coming with us!
Valerie was an excellent tour guide. She made the tour light and very interesting. She would add nuggets to each story that brought them to life.
